As the Director of Strategy and Operations for the Banking team, you will be responsible for working on a mix of scaling and in-development products across both our Consumer Banking and Business Banking Businesses. Working across product lines, you will drive strategy, product roadmap, and day-to-day operational management to help drive success for the business and P&L growth.
Your key objective in this role is to increase adoption of our banking products and drive sustainable engagement - both by rapidly scaling proven products and building new products from 0 to 1. You'll develop features, partnerships, and go-to-market strategies that increase engagement across our full suite of banking solutions.

The salary range for a Director, Strategy & Operations - Banking is $150,000 - $170,000 and will be eligible for equity and an annual performance-based bonus.

In this role, you will...
- Drive P&L Growth: Partner with leadership to drive financial performance across consumer and business banking businesses, using rapid revenue growth initiatives and strategic path to profitability as key levers for P&L expansion
- Drive Business Development: Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships that expand our banking product offerings and distribution channels
- Partner Management: Build and maintain relationships with key partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver integrated banking solutions
- Customer Insights: Deeply understand the needs, behaviors, and profiles of both consumer and business banking customers to inform product strategy
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Use customer insights and market opportunities to develop and execute product roadmaps that drive growth across both consumer and business segments - from finding product-market fit for new initiatives to scaling proven winners
- Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with marketing, product, engineering, data and customer success teams to bring new initiatives to market
- Strategic Initiatives: Act as a catalyst for new growth opportunities, coordinating development and launch of key initiatives across the organization

Required Experience:
- 5-8+ years of experience in business development, partner management, or strategy roles with demonstrated P&L ownership
- Proven track record of negotiating and managing complex partnerships and commercial agreements
- Experience in both rapidly scaling established products and building new products from 0 to 1
- Strong business acumen with the ability to evaluate and advise on business and partner tradeoffs
- Experience driving cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution
- Executive presence with the ability to influence and communicate effectively at all levels
- Data-driven approach to decision making with comfort in analyzing performance metrics
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in fintech or tech
- Startup or high-growth environment experience
- Track record of launching and scaling new products or business lines
- Experience finding product-market fit in ambiguous environments
- Experience working across both consumer and B2B products
