The Director of Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, and Facilities will be a pivotal leader responsible for developing and executing the company's overall sourcing and procurement strategy, as well as overseeing the efficient and effective management of company facilities..
This role will oversee all aspects of the procurement lifecycle, from identifying and qualifying suppliers to negotiating contracts and ensuring efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for the planning, maintenance, and operational aspects of the company's physical workplaces, ensuring a safe, functional, and productive environment.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving significant cost savings, improving supplier relationships, implementing best-in-class procurement practices, and effectively managing facilities operations in a dynamic environment across diverse geographies. This position reports to the Chief Administrative Officer.

How You Will Make an Impact:Develop and Implement Strategic Sourcing Strategies: Define and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, ensuring a robust and resilient supply chain
Vendor / Supplier Selection and Relationship Management: Lead RFI/RFP processes to identify, cultivate and ultimately maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key strategic suppliers, fostering partnerships for innovation, quality, and continuous improvement
Negotiation and Contracting: Lead complex negotiations for goods and services, developing and executing legally sound and commercially advantageous contracts including for Travel & Entertainment (T&E)
Cost Optimization: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing initiatives, leveraging market analysis, competitive bidding, and value engineering
Risk Management: Develop and implement strategies to mitigate supply chain risks, including supplier financial stability, geopolitical events, and disruptions, as well as Third Party / Vendor Risk Management
Procurement Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes, implementing best practices and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders across various departments (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Finance, Legal) to understand their needs and ensure procurement strategies support their objectives
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and report on procurement activities, providing insights into performance, cost savings, and supplier performance
Facilities Management: Develop and manage the company's real estate and workplace strategy, including space planning, office project management, event support, safety compliance, and office maintenance
Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing sourcing, procurement and facilities team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning
Compliance and Governance: Ensure all procurement activities and facilities adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and relevant legal and regulatory requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing and procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management
Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sourcing strategies that have resulted in significant cost savings and improved supplier performance, and experience in managing facilities operations and budgets effectively
Strong negotiation, contracting, and supplier relationship management skills
Deep understanding of procurement best practices, processes, and technologies, as well as knowledge of facilities management best practices and building operations
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and procurement software (e.g. ZIP), and familiarity with facilities management software or systems is a plus
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPM, CPSM) are a plus
Experience in technology, financial services and/or Fintech industries preferred
