A Snapshot of Curvion Blue:

Curvion is a high performance RevOps & sales augmentation agency that installs and deploys enterprise-grade, Al-driven revenue engines and selling systems for our clients. Think of a lead generation based marketing agency.... But focused on sales! We design and install complete sales systems from sales processes and GT strategy to CRM setup all the way to fully outsourced sales engagements. Then we enhance those systems with Al enabled tools and battle tested playbooks, and finally, we provide highly trained sales talent to help our clients execute so their revenue engine runs faster, scales efficiently, and performs consistently. In short, we build and power modern, Al-driven sales systems that help companies grow with clarity and control.

Position Overview:

What exactly is a Director of Strategic Partnerships? In simple terms, think of a highly sophisticated business development, ecosystem, and growth partnerships leader. This individual is responsible for building and scaling Curvion's network of strategic relationships that generate opportunities, influence, and revenue at scale. This is not about one-to-one prospecting for deals, this position focuses on creating leveraged distribution and growth channels capable of producing deal flow repeatedly over time.

This includes identifying, recruiting, negotiating, activating, and growing strategic relationships with referral partners, agencies, consultants, technology providers, communities, industry influencers, event organizers, podcast hosts, thought leaders, and other organizations that serve our ideal client profile. The Director of Strategic Partnerships will also own many of Curvion's external growth initiatives including speaking engagements, podcast placements, industry relationships, affiliate programs, and other distribution channels capable of driving leveraged, long-term growth.

The ideal candidate has built strategic partnerships that generated significant revenue, expanded distribution, increased market visibility, and created lasting competitive advantages for their organization. They understand how to identify, recruit, activate, and grow high-value partnerships while consistently uncover new opportunities to accelerate growth through leveraged relationships.

You SHOULD Apply to This Role If:

  • You have extensive experience building strategic partnerships, referral programs, channel partnerships, and business development initiatives.

  • You naturally think in terms of leverage, ecosystems, and scalable growth channels.

  • You have successfully built relationships that generated meaningful revenue or opportunities for your organization.

  • You are an exceptional communicator who can quickly build trust with executives, founders, consultants, agency owners, influencers, and strategic partners.

  • You have experience building partnership outreach motions, including identifying ideal partner profiles, sourcing opportunities, developing outreach campaigns, and consistently generating meetings with qualified strategic partners.

  • You have designed, launched, or improved partnership programs and understand how to create incentives, processes, and accountability mechanisms that encourage ongoing partner engagement and deal flow.

  • You have the ability to not just generate partner deal flow but close deals with new opportunities as well

  • Bonus points if you have experience building outreach motions to generate podcast & speaking engagements as well to create sales opportunities

  • Bonus points if you built and managed a partnership program for a marketing or sales agency

  • You can commit to a quota of a billion dollars in new sales from partnerships... Will settle for a fraction of this ;)

You SHOULD NOT Apply to This Role If:

  • You prefer highly structured environments where every step of the process is already defined.

  • You struggle with ambiguity or creating opportunities from scratch.

  • You prefer transactional selling over relationship-driven business development.

  • You dislike networking, relationship building, or creating new strategic opportunities.

  • You are uncomfortable engaging executives, founders, and high-level decision makers. You need constant direction and oversight to perform at your highest level.

  • You eat your pizza with ranch

  • You clap at the end of movies or when a plane lands

May be flexible on the last two...

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute Curvion's strategic partnership strategy.

  • Identify, recruit, onboard, and activate high-value referral and channel partners.

  • Build relationships with agencies, consultants, technology providers, communities, influencers, and other organizations that serve our ideal client profile.

  • Create and manage partnership programs designed to generate qualified opportunities and revenue.

  • Negotiate partnership agreements, referral arrangements, and strategic alliances.

  • Secure podcast appearances, speaking engagements, industry opportunities, and other leveraged distribution channels.

  • Create systems, processes, and reporting mechanisms to measure partnership performance and ROl.

  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and leadership team on growth initiatives and strategic opportunities.

  • Identify new distribution channels capable of generating scalable deal flow.

  • Build and manage a healthy pipeline of partnership opportunities and strategic relationships.

  • Continuously optimize Curvion's partnership ecosystem to maximize opportunities, influence, and revenue growth.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
