About the Role

We are looking for a Director, Strategic Partnerships to work directly with the CEO to secure and grow high-impact supply partnerships with leading brands. This role is focused on structuring strong partnerships, unlocking new supply channels, and increasing long-term value across our marketplace.

You will own partnerships - from identifying opportunities and structuring deals to managing and expanding key relationships. This role is ideal for someone highly analytical, comfortable with complex deal structures, and excited to work closely with senior leaders at major brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the CEO to identify and prioritize high-value partnership opportunities
  • Structure and negotiate commercial partnerships with leading brands
  • Own and grow strategic relationships, ensuring long-term value and continued supply growth
  • Identify opportunities to unlock additional inventory and expand existing partnerships
  • Use data and unit economics to evaluate partnerships and inform deal strategy
  • Develop creative deal structures that align incentives for both Ghost and its partners
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Product to execute partnerships successfully
  • Support new partnership models and distribution channels as the marketplace evolves

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, investment banking, strategy, or business development
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field; MBA or background in investment banking / consulting is a strong plus
  • Strong experience structuring and negotiating complex commercial partnerships
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to evaluate unit economics and build clear business cases
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets (financial modeling, pricing analysis, scenario planning)
  • Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) for pipeline and partnership tracking
  • Familiarity with data and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools) is a plus
  • Experience working with senior executives and managing high-value external relationships
  • Background in retail, marketplaces, supply chain, or wholesale strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with a high level of ownership

Our total compensation for this position can range from $165,000-185,000. This position is eligible for an incentive bonus. We value experience and are open to higher compensation for candidates with exceptional skills and background. The actual amounts may vary based on factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities related to the position.
