Description

We’re growing and looking to hire a Director of Strategic Alliances who embodies our core values: People First, Customer Obsession, Strive for Excellence, and Integrity.

Claroty is a global leader in protecting cyber-physical systems (CPS), dedicated to securing the critical infrastructure that keeps the world running. We’re a fast-growing, award-winning team where innovation meets purpose—and we want you to help us define the future of cybersecurity.

The Role

As the Director of Strategic Alliances, you will architect and lead the alliance growth engine for Claroty. You aren't just managing relationships; you are building a technical ecosystem. You will own the strategy for our Tier 1 OEM partners and lead the Cyber Tech Alliance Program (CTAP), ensuring our platform integrates seamlessly with the world’s leading security and networking stacks. This is a Remote US role and must be comfortable working different timezones.

Responsibilities

As a Director of Strategic Alliances, your impact will be:

  • Architect Ecosystem Strategy: Define the segmentation and investment models for our alliances, prioritizing partners like Fortinet, Zscaler, and Cisco to create "combinational value."
  • Lead "Co-Build" Initiatives: Partner with Engineering and Product to design and launch integrated technical offerings that embed Claroty’s value into the partner’s ecosystem.
  • Operationalize the Technical Alliance Program: Build and scale a frictionless program for API-driven integrations, enabling smaller tech partners to self-serve and certify their integrations with Claroty.
  • Drive Non-Linear Revenue: Focus on high-leverage deals (OEM, White-label) that expand Claroty’s reach.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Serve as the "connective tissue" between Product, Engineering, and the Field to ensure partner integrations are technically sound and commercially viable.
  • Executive Advocacy: Act as the face of Claroty’s ecosystem, building deep-rooted relationships with C-level stakeholders at global tech companies.
Requirements

What you need to succeed in this role:

  • Product-First Background: 8+ years of experience in Technology Alliances or Product Management. We value candidates who have built products or managed technical integrations over those with a pure services/GSI background.
  • Cybersecurity Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of the security stack (Firewall, Segmentation, Zero Trust). Experience in Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) is a plus but not required.
  • The "Architect" Mindset: Proven track record of building a partnership program from the ground up, rather than just maintaining existing ones.
  • Technical Literacy: Ability to hold your own in a room with Product Managers and Engineers—you understand APIs, SDKs, and data flows.
  • Strategic Negotiator: Experience structuring complex, first-of-their-kind commercial agreements (OEM, joint-IP, or co-build).
  • Reputation for Excellence: An exemplary record of leadership and ethical conduct within the tech vendor ecosystem.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
