As our Director of AI Platform Engineering, you will lead the team that enables this vision. From CI/CD pipelines and developer experience to AI governance and observability, you will define how our engineers build, test, and ship the technologies that power global enterprises. What You'll Do:
- Lead the design and evolution of our AI platform, driving innovation while ensuring security and reliability.
- Build world-class developer experiences — from pipelines and portals to AI-assisted coding tools.
- Champion AI governance and enterprise guardrails, ensuring trust, compliance, and ethical adoption.
- Create AI observability frameworks that give visibility into models, applications, and infrastructure at scale.
- Partner with leaders across Cloud Ops, AppSec, and Compliance to deliver secure, automated pipelines.
- Inspire global engineering teams by fostering a culture of innovation, speed, and continuous improvement.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- A proven leader with 10+ years of engineering experience and 2+ years in senior platform leadership.
- Strong technical foundation in Java, Python, Ruby (ML/AI frameworks a plus).
- Hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and observability tools.
- Experience building and governing AI/ML platforms with a focus on responsible AI practices.

The estimated pay range for this role is $ 222,000 - $288,00
The starting salary for the successful candidate will be based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
