Position Overview

PartsStore is redefining how aviation professionals’ source and sell aircraft parts. As Director of Sales, you’ll lead the expansion of our next-generation e-commerce platform — driving seller acquisition, marketplace revenue, and engagement across a global aviation ecosystem.

Reports to: Vice President of Sales Operations

Department: Marketplace Sales & Partnerships

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the seller acquisition and activation strategy, achieving GMV, subscription, and retention targets.

  • Build, manage, and convert a qualified pipeline of aviation sellers (OEMs, MROs, distributors, operators).

  • Execute territory and vertical expansion plans, leveraging outbound prospecting, partnerships, and trade events.

  • Deliver consultative sales presentations and ROI-based business cases aligned to each seller’s revenue goals.

  • Partner with marketing to launch targeted campaigns and seasonal inventory promotions.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Finance, and Support to streamline onboarding and seller satisfaction.

  • Provide market intelligence to guide product enhancements, pricing strategy, and competitive positioning.

  • Represent PartsStore at key industry conferences and trade events as a brand ambassador.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in aviation parts, logistics, or online marketplaces.

  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and GMV targets within a defined territory or vertical.

  • Expertise in aviation parts sourcing, inventory management, and MRO supply chain dynamics.

  • Strong consultative selling and executive communication skills.

  • Experience with CRM, analytics, and sales enablement tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or OroCRM).

  • Data-driven mindset; ability to translate insights into action.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% for seller visits and trade events.
