About The Role:

As the Director of Sales, National Accounts at Feastables, you will lead some of our most important retail partnerships and help drive the next chapter of our growth. This role is responsible for owning and expanding relationships across our top national retail customers while delivering against ambitious goals for revenue, distribution, velocity, and profitability.

You will develop customer growth strategies, lead joint business planning, oversee broker partnerships, and collaborate cross-functionally to bring Feastables to more consumers across grocery, convenience, and emerging retail channels. This role will also lead a high-performing sales team and play a key role in shaping how we scale our retail business.

The ideal candidate is a strategic and highly commercial sales leader with deep CPG experience, strong customer relationships, and a proven ability to drive growth in fast-moving environments. What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Own and lead Feastables' top national retail accounts, delivering against revenue, distribution, velocity, market share, and profitability goals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior retail partners to unlock growth opportunities across assortment, merchandising, pricing, and promotion
  • Lead annual Joint Business Planning processes and develop long-term customer strategies that align retailer objectives with Feastables' growth priorities
  • Drive customer negotiations across pricing, trade investment, promotional programming, assortment decisions, and annual business agreements
  • Partner closely with broker organizations to ensure alignment, accountability, and strong in-market execution
  • Develop customer-specific growth strategies across grocery, convenience, and emerging retail channels
  • Establish clear performance expectations, scorecards, KPI tracking, and accountability measures across both internal teams and broker partners
  • Coach team members on customer management, strategic selling, forecasting, planning, and execution excellence
  • Define and execute long-term national account strategies that support Feastables' overall commercial growth objectives
  • Translate business goals into actionable plans across distribution, merchandising, pricing, innovation, and promotional programming
  • Partner cross-functionally to optimize assortment strategies, trade investment effectiveness, retailer profitability, and execution plans
  • Leverage customer insights, syndicated data, and market trends to identify growth opportunities and strengthen fact-based selling strategies
  • Support commercialization efforts and retail launch execution for innovation, seasonal programs, and new customer opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Planning, Sales Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Category Management teams to ensure alignment and execution across priorities
  • Identify risks and opportunities proactively while developing action plans that support business performance and customer success
  • Serve as a key voice of the customer within the organization, providing retailer insights, competitive intelligence, and strategic recommendations
  • Own customer P&Ls and monitor performance across revenue, margin, trade spend, and profitability targets
  • Deliver business reviews, performance updates, and strategic recommendations to internal leadership

Recipe for Success:

  • 10+ years of experience in CPG sales, national account management, or a related commercial leadership role
  • Proven success managing large retailer relationships and customer P&Ls across grocery, convenience, mass, or related retail channels
  • Deep experience leading Joint Business Planning processes and building long-term strategic customer partnerships
  • Strong understanding of broker management, distributor relationships, and retail execution best practices
  • Experience leading, coaching, and developing high-performing sales teams
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in pricing strategy, trade investment, promotional planning, forecasting, and profitability management
  • Advanced negotiation, strategic selling, and relationship management skills
  • Strong analytical capabilities with experience leveraging syndicated data platforms, retailer insights, and market trends to drive business growth
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and build strong partnerships across internal and external teams
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and adapting quickly as priorities evolve
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with a bias toward action and execution
  • Experience working in a startup, high-growth company, or similarly fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent experience is a plus
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40% as needed
  • Passion for consumer brands, retail, and the creator economy
