The Director of Sales, Health Information Technology will build and grow relationships with health systems to expand Aya’s Health Information Technology (HIT) and non-clinical workforce solutions. He or she will focus on high-value accounts not yet partnered with Aya in order to help organizations solve complex technology and operational workforce challenges through our suite of differentiated services and software. This is a remote role.

Responsibilities: 

Enterprise Sales & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute strategic networking plans to penetrate target markets to win new business
  • Identify and engage CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, CFOs, and other senior technology and operational leaders within health systems
  • Demonstrate and effectively present Aya Healthcare’s full suite of services and software
  • Build relationships with executive buyers whose priorities extend beyond clinical staffing

Solution Selling & Executive Engagement


  • Present Aya’s full suite of HIT and non-clinical workforce solutions, including staff augmentation, managed services, project-based delivery, and SOW capabilities
  • Partner with internal teams to shape service offerings, pricing models, delivery structures, and competitive positioning
  • Lead executive-level negotiations that involve complex stakeholder groups and cross-functional decision-making

Pipeline Growth & Relationship Development

  • Create innovative approaches to reach new buyers and build credibility within technical and operational teams
  • Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients across the HIT landscape
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and professional networks to expand visibility and generate leads
  • Work closely with internal PMO, recruiting, legal, compliance, and finance to orchestrate enterprise-level engagements and ensure successful delivery

Internal Collaboration & Enterprise Navigation

  • Operate effectively within MSP/VMS environments, navigating credit-sharing, co-sell strategies, and cross-department priorities
  • Align with program managers who may not directly oversee IT or non-clinical categories but are critical to partnership success
  • Drive coordinated execution that supports both new-client acquisition and long-term account success

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (direct industry experience can be substituted)
  • At least 10 years of proven sales success in HIT, non-clinical workforce solutions, SaaS, or technology services environments
  • Strong track record selling to C-level executives within large healthcare organizations
  • Experience selling complex services, including staff augmentation, managed services, SOW/project delivery, or professional services
  • Deep understanding of solution design, pricing strategies, SOW structuring, and enterprise negotiations
  • Ability to navigate complex internal and client-side environments and coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • A competitive drive and a strong desire to win new business
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to identify multiple paths to move deals forward

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be $130,000 plus annually, plus incentive plan.   

The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
