As a catalyst for smart financial decisions, our combination of proprietary technology and financial expertise provides business owners with tailored solutions based on their unique needs and eligibility—helping them prosper, create more jobs, and, ultimately, grow the economy.

For our Director of Sales Enablement & Development role, we’re looking for a leader who can build and scale a high-performing sales organization. This is an opportunity to shape how our sales team hires, ramps, and executes—driving measurable impact on performance and revenue.

This is not a traditional learning and development position. You will play a central role in defining and improving how our sales organization performs—from onboarding and coaching to systems and strategy. You’ll partner closely with sales leadership and recruiting to ensure we are hiring the right talent, developing it effectively, and enabling consistent execution across the team.

We’re looking for someone who is data-driven, highly accountable, and passionate about elevating sales performance through practical, results-oriented enablement.

Where you can make an impact:

Build a High-Performance Sales Engine

  • Design and implement a sales enablement strategy focused on measurable performance outcomes

  • Define and reinforce performance standards across the sales organization

  • Continuously evaluate and improve sales effectiveness

Partner on Talent Strategy

  • Collaborate with recruiting to refine hiring profiles and selection processes

  • Identify candidates with strong sales execution capabilities

  • Use performance data to continuously improve hiring criteria

Lead Onboarding & Ramp Programs

  • Develop onboarding programs that accelerate time-to-productivity

  • Create structured ramp plans with clear milestones and expectations

  • Assess early performance to identify development opportunities

Coach and Develop Sales Talent

  • Facilitate call reviews, deal analysis, and skill-building sessions

  • Provide direct, actionable feedback to improve performance

  • Support underperforming reps with targeted development plans

Leverage Data to Drive Results

  • Monitor key metrics such as conversion rates, pipeline progression, and activity levels

  • Identify performance gaps and implement solutions

  • Build playbooks based on proven best practices

Scale Best Practices

  • Identify behaviors and strategies used by top performers

  • Translate insights into repeatable frameworks and tools

  • Drive consistency in execution across the team

Develop Sales Managers

  • Equip managers with coaching frameworks and tools

  • Strengthen accountability and performance management practices

  • Partner with leadership to maintain high standards

Utilize Tools & Technology

  • Leverage tools such as Gong and generative AI platforms to enhance coaching and messaging

  • Continuously improve enablement processes through technology and innovation

Your experience:
  • Experience in Business Lending/Lending required

  • 5+ years in sales enablement, training, or sales leadership, ideally in high-volume environments

  • Proven track record of improving sales performance and driving measurable results

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and solve performance challenges

  • Experience coaching frontline sales representatives

  • Deep understanding of sales execution

What makes you stand out:
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on impact and outcomes

  • Strong communicator who delivers clear, constructive feedback

  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-accountability environments

  • Bias for action—tests, iterates, and adapts quickly

  • Ownership mentality with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Where:
  • This is a remote role open to candidates across the United States.

  • We have a strong preference for candidates located in or near Scottsdale, AZ or New York City (Manhattan), as there will be opportunities for part-time, in-person collaboration with the team.

  • We believe in the value of in-person connection—especially in a sales environment where real-time coaching and shared learning can accelerate development. While the role is fully remote, candidates in these locations may be asked to participate in occasional in-office collaboration to maximize training and performance
The compensation range listed for this role reflects a broad range that accounts for factors such as experience and geographic location, and not all candidates will be eligible for the top of the range.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
