Job Description

We’re looking for a Director, Sales Development to lead the development and refinement of Procore’s inbound and outbound North American prospecting strategy. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Marketing, Sales leadership, Enablement, and Customer Experience to drive opportunities to increase revenue and exceed targets.

As a Director, Sales Development, you’ll use your strategic leadership, prospecting, and pipeline management skills to mentor your team, implement successful sales programs, and collaborate across departments to meet revenue goals. You’ll have the chance to shape Procore’s sales development approach while fostering a positive and high-performing team environment.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Sales Development and will be based in our Carpinteria, CA, Austin, TX, or Tampa, FL office. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.

What you’ll do:

  • Establish a framework for pipeline management (expectations, processes, reporting/KPIs) to exceed sales targets
  • Create and communicate weekly pipeline forecast to Sales Development Representatives (SDR) and leadership
  • Participate in regional quarterly business reviews with cross-functional leaders
  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to implement and lead programs to drive opportunities and revenue
  • Collaborate with Marketing and channel partners to implement strategic initiatives, establish lead flow expectations, uncover prospecting opportunities, and develop campaigns to hit revenue targets
  • Provide your team with mentorship and learning and development opportunities including training, coaching, and role playing to support professional growth
  • Promote an engaged, energetic, and inclusive environment that encourages high productivity while maintaining a positive work experience
  • Oversee front line SDR managers

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant work experience
  • 7+ years of experience in software sales, preferably in a SaaS environment
  • 3+ years of management experience in a business development environment
  • Proven success in hiring, developing, and promoting Sales Development representatives
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve 100%+ of quota as an individual contributor
  • Strong prospecting skills through cold calling, email, and social selling
  • Experience using and implementing sales methodologies, including MEDDPICC
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills, with a commitment to exceptional customer experiences

Additional Information

Base Pay Range $166,897 - $229,483. Plus commission plan for an estimated on-target earnings of $238,424 - $327,833. Eligible for Equity Compensation. Procore is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation, and has provided an estimated pay range for this role. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location.
