Job Summary

The Director of RTSM is responsible for helping our sales team reach their RTSM targets, as well as guiding our Services teams and clients to a successful RTSM implementation. This role is designed to: help to identify opps, create value presentations, support successful demonstrations and POCs, support the negotiation of contracts through to closure and drive the proper scoping and  successful deployment of the RTSM solutions. The Director is also expected to work closely with Marketing to create outreach campaigns, high value content and differentiated messaging.  The Director will also work closely with the RTSM Product Team to help set product strategy and the product roadmap.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Solutions Architects that guide customer study design
  • Support Medrio consistent attainment of all bookings and revenue targets on a quarterly, half and annual basis
  • Development and execution of strategic sales plans as they relate to specific opportunities and accounts within assigned territory – focus on value propositions and building pipeline for strategic solution areas.
  • Represent Medrio in the field in a manner consistent with company business principles and ethics
  • Coordination of resources within sales and other departments in order to achieve objectives
  • Provide customer led feedback on solution areas to our product and marketing organizations
  • Assist service and delivery teams to deliver a best in class customer experience
  • Travel as needed and meeting with clients

Customers or Clients:

  • All global customers including not limited to: CROs, Medical Device, Diagnostic, Biotech, and Pharma

Education and Years of Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years successful RTSM leadership experience required
  • Life Sciences Industry
  • Research and Clinical Trials
  • Mobile Health, eCOA, IRT and RTSM
  • SaaS sales preferred
  • Bachelors Degree preferred

Working Conditions

  • Home office position - remote work
  • Travel up to 40% both domestic and international
  • Must be available for meetings in various time zone situations

Other Skills and Abilities:

  • Successful track record of leading a team selling software solutions to life sciences
  • SaaS sales
  • Experience selling RTSM and IRT solutions to CROs and/or Sponsors
  • Demonstrated tenacity and drive to achieve goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Executive presence and communication skills
  • Ability to navigate a matrixed sales organization and work in a team selling environment
  • Understanding of eCOA, EDC, CTMS, eTMF, eISF helpful

Salary Range: $175,000 - $200,000
