In 2023, we acquired That Clean Life, the #1 nutrition planning software for nutrition-based care. With tens of thousands of customers in 70+ countries worldwide, we’re honored to be the EHR of choice for practitioners in private practice. And we’re just getting started.

Job Title: Director of RevOps

Location: Candidate must be located in Canada or the USA. We have offices located in Toronto, ON, Canada, and Kansas City, MO, USA, but the role is remote/hybrid/flexible.

Reports to:  President at Practice Better

About the Role

Practice Better is the all-in-one practice-management & client-engagement platform built for the next generation of health-and-wellness practitioners. We power a rapidly growing, mid-eight-figure SaaS business and support tens of thousands of practitioners across dietetics, coaching, holistic health, and allied-medical segments. After more than doubling ARR during the last two years, we are targeting ambitious growth over the coming years through deeper fintech monetization, packaging & pricing uplifts, and a more data-driven go-to-market engine.

To hit those goals we are building a modern Revenue Operations function that unifies Marketing, Growth, Sales-assist, Partnerships, Customer Success and Payments under a single source of truth. You will be our first dedicated RevOps leader and a key member of the executive team. This is a high-impact opportunity to architect a predictable, insights-driven revenue engine—ensuring Marketing, Sales, CS, and Finance operate from the same playbook and can move twice as fast with half the friction.

What you’ll do

  • Audit the entire revenue tech stack (HubSpot, marketing-automation, payments platform,product-analytics, BI) and deliver a 90-day optimization roadmap
  • Map our PLG → sales-assist →expansion funnel, create common definitions, SLAs and stage-conversion dashboards
  • Strategic Planning & Forecasting – Own the integrated GTM plan, quota models, territory design, and annual budgeting
  • Stand up board-level forecasting for Subscription, Payments, and Add-On products, tying marketing pipeline and churn drivers to ARR
  • Process & Tooling – Automate lead-to-cash, renewal, and expansion workflows; maintain data cleanliness, attribution logic, and compensation engines
  • Insights & Experimentation – Partner with Marketing on pricing/packaging tests, with Product on usage-to-revenue insights, and with Payments on take-rate optimization
  • Enablement & Governance – Define playbooks, OKRs, and reporting cadences so that Growth Product, Marketing, and CX operate from a single source of truth
  • Leadership – Build a small RevOps team, while acting as a thought partner to the President and GTM Leaders

What you’ll bring

  • 5–8+ years in Revenue Operations at high-growth SaaS companies operating between $30–100m ARR or demonstrable experience scaling revenue through that stage
  • Mastery of modern GTM stacks (HubSpot/SFDC, marketing-automation, product-led analytics, BI, CPQ, subscription billing)
  • Proven record of turning noisy data into board-quality forecasts and unlocking
  • Double-digit efficiency gains across funnel stages
  • Experience supporting pricing & packaging migrations and new revenue streams (embedded payments, usage-based, or add-ons)
  • Leadership DNA—able to influence exec peers, translate strategy into Operational Excellence, and scale a high-impact, lean RevOps team from scratch
  • Comfortable in an early-stage, remote environment

What you’ll get

  • The platform & mandate to build RevOps “the right way” from Day 1
  • Direct line of sight to value creation: every improvement in churn or take-rate meaningfully lifts ARR and EBITDA
  • A mission-driven culture - our founders built Practice Better to free practitioners from time-stealing admin work so they can change lives
  • Competitive comp with comprehensive benefits, learning stipend and a remote-first, flexible-hours ethos

Within 1 month you will:

  • Complete a comprehensive audit of GTM data, tech stack, and reporting gaps
  • Stand up an MVP PQL scoring model and route highest‑intent signals to SDRs
  • Launch a weekly Revenue Metrics dashboard covering acquisition, expansion, and churn
  • Establish a formal intake process for GTM tooling & analytics requests
  • Finalize the Operating Agreement & RACI with Finance and the Chief of Staff

By 3 months you will:

  • Deliver the first board‑ready blended forecast with ≤ ±5 % variance
  • Implement SLAs: PQL → SDR in < 5 min and renewal workflows for all > $1 K ARR accounts
  • Roll out standardized self‑serve dashboards; achieve > 80 % weekly active usage by GTM leaders
  • Rationalize GTM tech spend and delivering on tool consolidation

By 12 months you will:

  • Lift MQL → SQL and SQL → Closed‑Won conversion rates by ≥ 3 percentage points each
  • Increase NRR by 10%
  • Build out a lean RevOps pod and documented succession processes
  • Provide scenario‑based revenue models that inform the decision to scale to 2-3x current ARR milestones

Our Perks and Benefits:

  • Unlimited Vacation: We believe you can be highly productive and still have plenty of time for life outside of work.
  • Generous health benefits plan: Coverage starts from Day 1 and includes vision & dental.
  • RRSP / 401K matching program for retirement savings.
  • Choose your device: Are you Team Windows or Apple? You shouldn’t have to compromise, especially if you work more efficiently on a specific operating system. When you join us, you get to pick!
  • Home Office Allowance: $500/year to ensure your home office is set up for optimal comfort and productivity.
  • Health & Wellness Allowance: $750/year to support your health & wellness-related goals and hobbies.
  • Learning & Development Allowance: $1,000/year to explore a new skill, attend a conference, read some new books, etc.
  • Sprout Family: Receive personalized support for the family-building process, accessing top-quality care. Schedule a consultation with Sprout's Team for guidance, education, coaching, and assistance in finding a top provider, addressing medical, legal, or regulatory concerns throughout your journey. Currently for Canadian Employees Only
  • Inkblot: Access to one of Canada's leading digital mental health companies, focusing on offering secure online video counseling through our corporate mental health programs and individual counseling services. Currently for Canadian Employees Only
  • Fully Remote: Work from the comfort of your own home with the choice to access our downtown Toronto office for a change of scenery.
  • Events & Free Lunches: We prioritize weekly team bonding and monthly company-wide social events with a lunch stipend. We pride ourselves on maintaining a culture where everyone feels engaged, inspired, and excited to come to work every day.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
