Who We’re Looking For

At ScalePad, we hire thoughtful builders who want their work to matter. Our roles are designed for people who thrive on driving impact, see ambiguity as an opportunity, and believe that raising the bar is a team sport.

We don’t bring people in to run playbooks. We hire people who want to rewrite them. And in this role, you’ll get to do that, while shaping the future of managed services for our global partners. (That’s what we call our customers.)

What is ScalePad

At ScalePad, we’re building more than software; we’re building confidence and clarity for the people who manage the technology businesses rely on every day.

Our mission: help MSPs evolve into MVPs (their clients’ most valuable partner). Our tools turn them from reactive service providers into strategic advisors through a consistent, scalable Customer Success motion.

Our product suite unifies risk insights, client planning, and service delivery so MSPs can have smarter conversations, show clients their value, and grow their revenue.

But our purpose goes beyond our software. We’re creating a workplace where curious, growth-minded people can do their best work, where ideas are valued, progress is shared, and everyone belongs. Together, we’re creating a future where MSPs don’t just keep businesses running, they help them thrive. We believe that when our partners succeed, we all do.

With offices in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Phoenix and a global-first mindset. ScalePad has grown into a category leader trusted by 12,000+ partners across 60+ countries. We’ve been recognized for our products and corporate culture by MSP Today, G2, and Great Place to Work™, to name a few.

About The Role

As our Director of Revenue Operations, you will power the core engine that supports our GTM teams. You will lead CS Operations, Billing, Sales Operations, and GTM Tech Stack Management to ensure consistent and on-time execution across all functions.

You will run the operating rhythm that keeps Sales, Customer Success, and Finance aligned and moving forward. This includes clear intake processes, timely follow-up, and reliable data that supports confident, fast decision-making. Your focus is operational excellence: building dependable processes, removing friction, and creating clarity so leadership can stay focused on innovation, strategy, and growth.

Responsibilities.

Get ready to go beyond order-taking. Your strategic responsibilities include:

  • RevOps Intake & Operating Rhythm:
    • Own the RevOps intake queue, including triage, prioritization, task assignment, and tracking to closure with clear SLAs and defined escalation paths.
    • Run a predictable operating cadence (standups, status updates, weekly operational reviews) that turns incoming requests into completed outcomes.
  • GTM Tech Stack Stewardship- Operational ownership across:
    • HubSpot / GetAccept: Maintain user hygiene, permissions, views and lists, template governance, and approval routing in partnership with Sales Operations. Coordinate major structural changes with IT and GTM Engineering.
    • Chargebee & Chargebee Receivables: Support billing workflows, manage invoice and collections exceptions, and ensure month-end readiness in collaboration with Finance.
    • Gainsight (CS, CE, PX, Community): Maintain playbook hygiene, ensure execution of health-signal workflows, and support renewal checklist readiness with CS Ops leadership.
    • Zendesk: Maintain intake categories, routing hygiene, macro governance, and SLA monitoring with Support.
    • Gong, Email, LinkedIn: Oversee usage governance, tagging and library hygiene, and outreach conventions with Sales Operations.
  • AI-Enabled Operational Execution:
    • Use AI features within the GTM stack (call summaries, meeting notes, email drafts, checklist generation) to accelerate routine work while applying human review.
    • Monitor AI- and system-generated alerts (SLA breaches, data anomalies) to trigger timely follow-ups, and escalate deeper changes to the appropriate platform owners.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead the CS Ops, Billing, and Sales Ops analyst team through capacity planning, 1:1s, coaching, performance management, and hiring collaboration.
    • Foster a culture of clarity, documentation, and predictable delivery.
  • Governance & Risk Management:
    • Uphold access controls, change-management checklists, audit trails, and post-change validation.
    • Escalate vendor, platform, and security concerns to IT as needed.
  • Timezone & Operational Coverage
    • Maintain core Pacific hours with availability for occasional East Coast operational emergencies.

Your Strengths and Skills

We care about what you can do more than where you’ve done it. However, experience in the following areas will help you hit the ground running in this role:

  • Proven leadership in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or CS Operations with measurable outcomes in queue management, SLAs, and stakeholder support.
  • Team leadership: hiring, coaching, and performance management for operational analysts.
  • Organizational rigor: exceptional follow-through, documentation discipline, and stakeholder communication.
  • Hands-on operating experience with: HubSpot; GetAccept; Chargebee & Chargebee Receivables; Gainsight CS/CE/PX/Community; Zendesk; Gong; Email; LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Comfort using native AI features (summaries, drafts, checklists) with human oversight; avoids process redesign without owner approval.
  • Schedule flexibility: Pacific-focused hours with ability to respond to East-coast operational emergencies.
  • Sharp prioritization, escalation, and risk-management instincts; bias to clarity and closure.

Perks

ScalePad offers our employees a blend of purpose, growth, and genuinely great perks.

  • Everyone’s an owner. Share in our success through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) and RRSP matching.
  • Structured mentorship with builders. Join opt-in mentorship programs and learn directly from founders and senior leaders who’ve scaled multiple SaaS ventures and spent decades in the MSP industry.
  • Invest in your growth every year. Access an annual professional development budget to level up your skills, your career, and your impact.
  • Set yourself up with great tools. Work with brand new, top-of-the-line hardware and equipment so you can do your best work, whether you’re at home or in one of our hubs.
  • Modern ways of working. Roles at ScalePad are structured as remote or hybrid, with hub locations in Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, and Phoenix. Specific work models are outlined in each posting.
  • Support for hybrid life. Receive a monthly stipend to help you create an effective hybrid or remote work environment.
  • Well-being and time to recharge. Take care of yourself with 100% employer-paid benefits.

Before You Apply

This is a full-time role for those who are eligible to work in Canada or the United States. We thank all applicants for taking the time to apply, but only candidates who make it to the next stage will be contacted.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
