About the Role
TwelveLabs is at the forefront of video AI technology, transforming how businesses understand and utilize their video data by leveraging our multimodal video foundation model. Our go-to-market team is dedicated to driving the adoption of these powerful models by helping customers power use cases.
As the Director of Revenue Operations, you will be responsible for establishing, scaling, and optimizing our revenue operations framework from the ground up. You'll work closely with sales, marketing, and customer success teams to design and implement systems, processes, and policies that drive sustainable revenue growth and operational excellence
We recommend this role to candidates who are excited about the opportunity to create a market category and thrive in an ambiguous environment. Ideally, you will have experience having built and executed go-to-market strategies as part of the early team in a software startup.
In this role you will:
Design and build a comprehensive revenue operations organization from scratch
Develop and maintain CRM systems and processes to ensure data integrity and usability
Define and refine sales stages and pipeline management methodologies
Create and implement sales team compensation structures that align with company goals
Establish discounting guidelines and build an effective deal desk structure
Lead systems selection, implementation, and management for all revenue operations tools
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline lead management processes (PQL, MQL, SQL)
Develop reporting and analytics to provide actionable insights to leadership
Build scalable processes that support both direct and indirect revenue/lead sources
You may be a good fit if you have:
5+ years of experience in revenue operations roles, with a proven track record of building RevOps functions
Experience establishing revenue operations in high-growth environments, preferably in technology or SaaS
Strong understanding of CRM platforms and revenue operations technology stack
Demonstrated success in designing sales compensation plans and deal desk structures
Experience implementing and optimizing sales methodologies and pipeline stages
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams and cross-functional projects
Demonstrated the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, where you learn and iterate quickly to find the right path to success.
Experience in AI/ML companies or technology sectors
Familiarity with AI-driven sales effectiveness systems (e.g., Clay)
Track record of managing both product-led (PQL) and marketing/sales-led (MQL/SQL) growth models
Experience scaling revenue operations at Series A stage companies
Background in implementing advanced analytics and forecasting methodologies
Preferred Locations: New York City or San Francisco
