The Role

As a key leader within the Go-to-Market (GTM) organization, the Director of Renewals is responsible for overseeing the strategy, coordination, analysis, and execution of maximizing customer retention and growth within a specific geographic territory. They should partner with their geographical GTM team, as well as leadership across the organization, to maximize renewal bookings while continuing to best serve the company's interests as a whole through driving SaaS customer expansion and perpetual customer migrations. Individuals at this level must achieve success as individual contributors and managers. They are responsible for consistent performance in achieving the listed KPIs both for the Regional Team and contributing to the Global Team. 

What You’ll Do

  • Leads the regional team towards attainment of the annual renewal bookings quota
  • Manages and develops a team of high-performing Customer Retention Specialists and Executives
  • Works cross-functionally to drive customer retention and increase annual recurring revenue
  • Executes on departmental and organizational goals
  • Partners closely with internal customers, including sales leadership, to ensure alignment with our go-to-market strategy within the sales and renewals programs
  • Ensures customer relationships are supported proactively to provide need-based solutions
  • Able to quickly solve, negotiate, and resolve conflicts
  • Actively builds and manages team data metrics and reports, then subsequently provides synthesized summations, analytics, and recommendations for senior management based upon findings within the regional territory as well as the Global Team at large
  • Understands various product use cases and can communicate the added value of the product line to customers, while staying abreast of all product announcements, changes, and advancements
  • Regarded as a leader of the team and a subject matter expert within the CRG and CAG Teams
  • Proactively engages in projects and tasks aimed at the betterment of the broader GTM team
  • Proficient in executing regional account allocations and alignment with internal teams
  • Understands the Bookings Policy and can navigate and resolve OM/Sales requests that do not adhere

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field of study
  • com (SFDC)
  • Experience with the sales industry is a plus; Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of automation, analytics, and general office technology, including operations, development, and general office administration
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience in a software or technology company is a plus
  • Experience in managing a high-performing team of individual contributors
  • Knowledge of SaaS
  • com and/or large CRM/ERP experience
