The Director of Quality will define and lead the quality vision for Patrick Ta Beauty across the full product lifecycle. This role is responsible for ensuring that every product — from concept to consumer — reflects the brand’s uncompromising standards and performs flawlessly in specialty retail environments worldwide.
This is a remote position with regular travel to domestic and international vendors and manufacturing partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Own Quality from Concept to Consumer: Lead quality oversight across the entire product lifecycle, including development, launch, replenishment, and post-market performance. Establish and maintain best-in-class quality systems that scale with the brand while preserving luxury and performance.
Vendor & Manufacturing Excellence: Audit, qualify, and manage a global network of component suppliers and contract manufacturers. Ensure all partners meet Patrick Ta Beauty’s quality standards, regulatory requirements, and specialty retail expectations. Drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) with clarity, urgency, and accountability.
New Product Launch & Risk Management: Provide early-stage quality risk assessment for all new product launches and formula or packaging changes. Maintain clear visibility to non-conformances, deviations, and quality risks, ensuring timely escalation and resolution. Partner cross-functionally to proactively mitigate risk and protect launch timelines and brand integrity.
Standards, SOPs & Training: Create, implement, and continuously improve SOPs, quality standards, and documentation across all quality-related processes. Develop and deliver quality training for internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent execution and understanding. Champion a culture of excellence, precision, and accountability.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as a trusted quality partner to Product Development, Packaging, Operations, Supply Chain, Regulatory, and Commercial teams. Ensure readiness for specialty retail by meeting all quality, safety, and compliance requirements.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED
- 10+ years of quality leadership experience within prestige or specialty retail beauty.
- Proven experience working with international and domestic component vendors and contract manufacturers.
- Strong background in supplier audits, qualification, and quality system development.
- Demonstrated success managing quality for entire Brand portfolio: new product launch and ongoing replenishment.
- Deep knowledge of cosmetic GMPs, quality standards, and regulatory expectations.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, including international travel
- Experience supporting rapid growth within a prestige beauty brand.
- Confident, influential leader with the ability to balance strategic vision and hands-on execution.
- Detail-driven, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for quality and artistry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills.

Salary Range Opportunity:
- The hiring range for this role is $150,000-165,000
