What Are We Looking For?

The Director of Public Relations will be a key leader in shaping and executing SentinelOne's global communications strategy. Reporting to the Vice President of Communications, this role is responsible for enhancing our brand reputation, driving positive media coverage, and managing a high-performing PR team and global agency network. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and player-coach with deep expertise in the cybersecurity landscape, a passion for storytelling, and a proven track record of success in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What Will You Do?
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive global PR strategy that aligns with SentinelOne’s business objectives and market positioning
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of PR professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
  • Global Agency Network Management: Manage and direct our global network of PR agencies, ensuring consistent messaging, effective execution, and measurable results across all regions
  • Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key media, analysts, and influencers in the cybersecurity and business sectors
  • Rapid Respond to Emerging Cyber Threat News Cycles: Leverage SentinelOne’s deep threat intelligence expertise to develop compelling narratives, timely responses to breaking news, and proactive thought leadership campaigns
  • Content Development: Oversee the creation of press releases, media pitches, talking points, and other PR materials that are accurate, engaging, and aligned with company messaging
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, sales, and executive leadership teams to ensure PR initiatives are integrated and effective4-5 unique responsibilities in order of importance
What Skills and Knowledge Should You Bring?
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in public relations, with at least 5 years in leadership or management capacity
  • Direct experience working at a cybersecurity company is mandatory
  • Demonstrated success in managing a team of PR professionals
  • Proven ability to manage and direct a global agency network
  • Threat Intelligence Expertise: A strong understanding of the cybersecurity threat landscape, including emerging threats, attacker methodologies, and industry trends
  • Team Player: Must thrive in a collaborative team environment and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strategic Acumen: Exceptional ability to think strategically and translate business goals into effective PR programs
  • Communication Skills: Superior written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or related field

This U.S. role has a base pay range that will vary based on the location of the candidate. For some locations, a different pay range may apply.  If so, this range will be provided to you during the recruiting process. You can also reach out to the recruiter with any questions.

Base Salary Range
$174,800$250,000 USD
