Strategy & Operations is an instrumental function for the Global Solutions Center of Excellence to help evolve the Solutions Organization into the next generation of talent, drive alignment between Product and Sales, and accelerate Salesforce’s path to $50B. Empowering SEs to deliver world class demos in a time and resource efficient way is a key part of this evolution.
The Director of Demo Strategy Programs & Operations will drive and own program management across Demo Strategy’s key objectives, and collaborate with a variety of other organizations within Salesforce. They will play a key role in defining our demo transformation strategy, translating this vision into concrete roadmaps and work plans for the team, and orchestrating the team to deliver outstanding demo experiences to the field. Their primary focus will be working in lock step with the Senior Director of Demo Strategy and executing against the objectives laid out in the Demo Strategy V2MOM.
The Director will regularly brief executives, align to key stakeholders across the globe, work in a complex matrix environment, drive alignment, and build cross-functional relationships with product, sales, solutions and functional leaders (marketing, sales strategy, sales programs, enablement, business technology, etc.).
Scope:
* Manages, reports progress against, and ultimately ensures the delivery of Method 2: Demos in the Solutions CoE V2MOM
* Works with Solutions CoE Leader, Demo Strategy Leader, and other members of the Leadership Team to drive the company’s highest priority initiatives in the Demos space
* While focusing on Demos, works with the CoE Leadership Team to drive collaboration and cross-pollination across all of the Solutions CoE V2MOM to maximize our organization’s impact
* Co-owns the Demo Strategy V2MOM — optimizes processes and systems, establishes and nurtures strong cross-functional relationships, and drives all operations associated with our demos transformation
* Owns Method 3: Operational Excellence & Rigorous Execution in the Demo Strategy V2MOM — builds a framework and orchestrates the team to ensure high-quality, consistent, and timely delivery of demos experiences

* Turns big ideas into concrete action items, quickly understands dependencies, and sequences project plans accordingly
* Proactive and strategic — puts plans into motion before meetings end and brings potential solutions to risks that others haven’t yet anticipated, enabling those around them to focus on the challenges immediately in front of them
* Accelerates time to value for every project in their portfolio, maximizes the ROI of invested time by focusing on the highest impact areas, and manages multiple projects / programs with ease
* Feels and acts with full ownership over projects, whether influencing, managing, or actively hands on keyboard
* Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management — builds strong relationships, navigates situations with high EQ, and maximizes the skills and priorities of each group for the greater good
* Leads with enthusiasm, optimism, and confidence — is a cornerstone for the team in every situation; motivates, challenges, and helps others to do their best work

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $177,600 to $257,600.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $177,600 to $257,600.
