What We Need

2K Publishing Tech delivers innovative solutions to our studios and supports all of their technology needs to ensure they can focus on building incredible games. The Director of Program Delivery will build, lead, and scale the technical program management practice that supports our growing portfolio of studios. This leader owns the strategic direction for how Technology engages with studios — translating business priorities into program structure, hiring and developing a high-performing team, and establishing the operating rhythms (governance, reporting, escalation paths) that let delivery scale with the business.

The Director will partner directly with 2K Technology, Studio, and Publishing leadership to shape roadmaps, resolve cross-functional conflicts, and ensure delivery commitments are met across an evolving studio portfolio. This role requires someone equally comfortable setting strategy in the room with executives and rolling up their sleeves to unblock a program in flight — with the people leadership skills to build a team others want to join and grow within.

What You Will Do

• Build, lead, and grow a team of Technical Program Managers supporting 2K's studio portfolio

• Set the strategic direction and operating model for how Technology Program Delivery engages with studios and cross-functional partners

• Own executive-level reporting and communication on program health, risk, and delivery across the studio portfolio

• Partner with Technology, Studio, Analytics, Global Services, Commercial, and Marketing leadership to align priorities and resolve cross-functional roadblocks

• Establish and evolve program management standards, processes, and tooling used across the team

• Coach and develop a team, including performance management, career growth, and workload balancing

• Own resourcing and staffing decisions across studio engagements, including hiring

• Serve as the primary escalation point for complex studio delivery risks, blockers, and stakeholder conflicts, proactively resolving high-priority challenges.

• Drive prioritization and tradeoff decisions across competing studio and portfolio demands

• Represent Program Delivery in leadership forums, planning cycles, and budget discussions

• Own delivery of the shared services and platform roadmap in partnership with studio and product leadership

• Champion continuous improvement in how the team plans, tracks, and communicates delivery status

Who We Believe Will Be A Phenomenal Fit

You have a track record of building and leading high-performing program management teams in a fast-paced, complex organization. You're as comfortable setting strategy with executives as you are getting into the details of a program that's off track. You bring structure and clarity without slowing teams down, and you know how to build trust across technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.

• 10+ years in technical program management, technical production, or engineering leadership, including experience managing or leading a team of program/project managers

• Proven experience building and scaling a program management function, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management

• Video game development knowledge; shipped one or more AAA titles a plus

• Demonstrated success owning executive-level relationships and communicating program status, risk, and strategy to senior leadership

• Experience setting and evolving program management processes, governance, and reporting standards across a team or organization

• Strong track record influencing and driving consensus across departments and organizational levels

• Agile experience a plus

• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Google Suite
