Summary 

The Director of Product drives the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Analytics8’s data and analytics service offerings. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping how we design, package, and deliver high-impact, scalable solutions to our clients. This role works closely with sales, marketing, alliances, and delivery. The Director of Product ensures our solutions are innovative, repeatable, and market-aligned. This role is a strategic leadership position with hands-on execution in the areas of go-to-market strategy and operational enablement.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Development

  • Defines a unified common vernacular used to organize Analytics8 products, offerings, frameworks and accelerators
  • Develops and maintains reusable frameworks, packaged services, and deployment templates
  • Owns and evolves the product roadmap incorporating input from:
    • Strategic vision (via CTO and executive team)
    • Marketing messaging and campaigns
    • Partner ecosystem (Head of Alliances)
    • Field Demand (Sales and Pre-Sales)
    • Strategic and repeatable delivery initiatives
    • Bird in hand work (via Delivery)                                             

Go-to-Market Enablement

  • Collaborates with Marketing to align product positioning, messaging and launch plans
  • Supports the creation of compelling value propositions, differentiators and use cases for target audiences
  • Equips sales with go-to-market tools including:
  • Sales playbooks, PowerPoint Scripts, value propositions
  • Sales indicators, battlecards, and competitive differentiators   
  • Partners with delivery teams to provide implementation guides, reusable assets, and technical onboarding support
  • Enables Partner Sales Teams (when applicable) through training and co-selling initiatives

Essential Requirements 

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, product strategy, service design, or solution engineering, ideally within a data and analytics8 consulting environment  
  • Background in data and analytics, preferably at Databricks, a Databricks-oriented consultancy, or a technology vendor within the Databricks ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and their practical applications within service delivery
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional efforts across sales, delivery, alliances, and executive leadership
  • Skilled at leveraging the time and talents of team members who may not be direct reports.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, presentation and enablement skills
  • Experience creating and managing enablement content for sales and delivery teams
  • Ability to balance high level strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing product strategies that align with business goals

Salary and Benefits

At Analytics8, we are committed to providing fair and equitable packages that support our employees' success both at work and in life. Our comprehensive approach includes a competitive base salary, and a suite of benefits designed to help employees thrive. 

For the position of Director of Product, the base salary range is $155,000 - $180,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition, employees may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Please note that salary ranges are subject to change and may be modified at any time.
