Director of Product MarketingAbout Aspire

Aspire.io is the world’s first word-of-mouth commerce platform that leverages your brand’s ambassadors, influencers, affiliates, customers, user-generated content, and social ads to accelerate marketing results across paid, owned, and earned channels. Since 2014, Aspire’s industry-leading software platform, combined with our award-winning Agency Services team, has served household names such as M&M’S, Keurig, Samsung, HelloFresh, Dyson, and many other high-growth companies while paying out $100M to creators around the world.

The Role

We’re seeking a visionary Director of Product Marketing to lead Aspire’s product marketing strategy, driving the connection between our platform innovations and the market opportunities that fuel our next stage of growth.

In this role, you’ll: i) define our product positioning and messaging frameworks, ii) deliver compelling narratives and scalable go-to-market programs, iii) shape how we bring products to market across customer segments and channels, iv) help existing and new customers understand the value of our platform capabilities, and v) collaborate with leaders across the entire cross-section of Aspire: Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Agency Services.

If you’re passionate about putting your own stamp on a complex, ever-changing, competitive, and immensely valuable space, this role is for you!

What You’ll Be Working On:
  • Own Aspire’s product marketing strategy. Define audience segmentation, positioning, and messaging frameworks across all product lines. Create a narrative that our customers, partners, and investors can all be a part of.
  • Lead go-to-market excellence. Oversee launch strategy, planning, and execution for new products, major releases, and strategic initiatives.
  • Contribute to our product by being the voice of the customer, representing their wants, needs, and aspirations. Close the loop with our Product team by gathering customer feedback - directly and in partnership with Customer Success - and contextualizing it.
  • Drive adoption and understanding of our platform capabilities, shepherding our customers towards the promised land that our platform opens up before them.
  • Build and develop a small team of product marketers to execute world-class launches, enablement programs, and campaign support.
  • Enable revenue teams with targeted messaging, collateral, and training that drive adoption, upsell, and retention.
  • Establish metrics and reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of our positioning, refine strategies, and optimize performance across teams.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 8+ years of product marketing experience in B2B SaaS, including 3+ years leading or managing teams.
  • Proven success owning end-to-end GTM strategy and execution.
  • Strong strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution and cross-functional alignment.
  • Exceptional communicator who can translate technical capabilities into compelling narratives that resonate with executives and practitioners alike.
  • Experience with creators and influencers, affiliate programs, and/or marketing technology is highly desired.
  • Deep understanding of buyer journeys, segmentation, and lifecycle marketing strategies.
  • Analytical mindset; comfortable defining success metrics and leveraging data to inform decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
Benefits & Perks
  • Comprehensive Benefits – Full health, dental, and vision insurance to keep you covered.
  • Remote Work Flexibility – Thrive in a high-energy, high-performing team, all from the comfort of your home. We provide support for your internet and home office setup.
  • 401(k) Plan – Save for your future with our 401(k) retirement savings plan.
  • Flexible PTO – Recharge and take time off whenever you need with our flexible paid time off policy.
  • Paid Parental Leave – Four months of fully paid leave for new moms and dads, one of the best policies in the industry.
  • Ongoing Training & Development – We invest in your growth with customized training, coaching, and career acceleration opportunities while building clearer, more defined career paths. Plus, take advantage of our annual education stipend to keep learning on your terms.
  • End-of-Year Break – We typically close between Christmas and New Year’s to give everyone time to unplug and recharge. This may vary by team based on workload and client needs.

The base salary for this role is between $160,000-220,000. This role will not be eligible for bonuses.

  • Please note: The final offer amount will depend on factors such as experience, expertise, and location, and may differ from the range above. This range also excludes additional benefits, such as equity, 401(k), and medical, dental, or vision insurance.

Our compensation philosophy: we use a market-based approach to compensation. This means we use a series of compensation tools to help us understand how companies value this role in the U.S. market based on function, level, geographic location, and positions benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. To comply with local legislation and provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above. We have competitive pay bands for all other countries based on market standards.

Aspire is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. Please apply to this role if you feel you are a good fit, regardless of your race, color, religion, gender identity, sex, sexual preference, sexual identity, pregnancy, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, age, marital status, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, military status, or any other perceived limiting factor. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
