The Director, Product Marketing - Financial Services builds and manages a high-performing product marketing team, drives rapid user adoption, and high levels of Member engagement, delivers accelerated revenue growth through effective marketing communications, and nurtures a deep love of the brand. This role will be the hands-on champion and leader of Product Marketing for our small, high-performing marketing team leading the charge on several lines of business (including credit cards, CDs, car buying, driver’s education, and potentially a few others tbd).
Essential Functions
● Leadership: Embrace company values and leadership principles, lead and develop a high performing team of marketers, and nurture high levels of employee engagement.
● Member Insights. Conduct and leverage industry, competitor, and Member research to identify target audiences, understand Member needs, analyze competitive landscapes,and inform product, pricing, and promotion decisions.
● Product Positioning: Develop a clear and compelling product positioning that
differentiates the product from competitors and resonates with the target market.
● Messaging Development: Craft persuasive messaging that highlights the product's value proposition and benefits to Members.
● Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans to launch new products or features successfully.
● Sales Enablement: Equip the sales team with the necessary tools, materials, and training to effectively sell the product. Work with the sales team to qualify leads and ensure leads are nurtured effectively.
● Demand Generation: Create and execute marketing campaigns, leveraging the learnings of A/B testing, to generate demand for the product and drive lead generation. Included in this responsibility is overseeing the optimization of our digital media/marketing programs.
● Channel Optimization: Maximize the return on marketing investment by optimizing the channel strategy and media mix.
● Retention: Develop and implement a robust Member engagement and retention strategy to continuously improve Member satisfaction and effectively manage Member churn.
● Marketing Plan: Develop marketing plans including budgets and forecasted KPIs.
● Brand Champion: Drive brand equity and a deep love of the brand by Team Members and Members.
● The Director may be asked to do other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience/Licenses & Certification
● Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years marketing experience and leadership capabilities
● Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or Master’s preferred
- CPG and B2C marketing experience
- Performance marketing experience, including reporting of KPIs
- Marketing plan development experience
- Budget management experience
- Promotion management experience
- Go-to-market product launch experience
- Experience working directly with marketing agencies (creative and media), as
- well as internal creative services and digital media teams
WORKING ENVIRONMENT / MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This is primarily an office job. Physical requirements include standing, sitting, bending and lifting (up to 15 pounds). Approximately 98% of time is spent using a video display terminal.

We target between minimum and midpoint of the range, and all offers are subject to a fair pay analysis - Compensation Range: Min: $149,109.00 - Mid: $166,315.00- Max: $183,518.00-
