About the Role
We are redefining how enterprises engage with customers through cutting-edge Generative AI. Our next-generation AI-powered brand and customer engagement application is transforming how businesses create, automate, and personalize interactions at scale.
As the Director of Product Marketing, you will own the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, competitive positioning, and thought leadership for this solution. You will shape how brands adopt Generative AI, working across product, sales, and marketing to drive market leadership and customer adoption.
This is a high-impact role at the forefront of AI-driven transformation. If you are passionate about the future of AI, brand engagement, and how Generative AI is reshaping customer interactions, this is your opportunity to lead and define a category-shaping product.
Key Responsibilities
Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution
  • Own and execute the GTM strategy for this AI-powered brand engagement platform, ensuring strong differentiation and category leadership.
  • Develop compelling messaging and positioning that clearly articulates the value of Generative AI in brand engagement, customer experience, and digital marketing.
  • Lead major product launches, orchestrating high-impact go-to-market plans that drive adoption and awareness.
AI Thought Leadership & Evangelism
  • Establish our brand as a leader in AI-powered customer engagement through content, events, and executive communications.
  • Act as a spokesperson and evangelist at industry events, conferences, and executive briefings.
  • Develop thought leadership materials, including whitepapers, blogs, and webinars, that educate the market on AI-driven brand experiences.
Sales Enablement & Competitive Intelligence
  • Equip sales teams with the tools, training, and narratives to drive customer adoption and revenue growth.
  • Develop sales playbooks, competitive battlecards, and objection-handling frameworks to position our AI solutions effectively.
  • Own competitive intelligence, defining our differentiation and market strategy in an evolving AI landscape.
Customer & Market Insights
  • Lead market research to refine audience segmentation, buyer personas, and key use cases.
  • Partner with product management to shape roadmap priorities based on customer and market needs.
  • Track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure impact and continuously refine marketing strategies.
Who You Are
You are a bold, strategic marketer who thrives in high-growth, AI-first environments. You have proven experience launching and scaling AI-driven enterprise SaaS products and are passionate about how Generative AI is transforming brand engagement.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years in product marketing, with deep expertise in AI, Generative AI, machine learning, or digital experience platforms.
  • Passion for AI-driven storytelling, marketing automation, and intelligent customer engagement.
  • Proven ability to translate complex AI capabilities into simple, compelling narratives for executives, technical teams, and business audiences.
  • Experience driving end-to-end GTM strategy and execution, from positioning to launch to adoption.
  • Strong background in sales enablement, competitive positioning, and AI evangelism.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics and inform GTM strategies.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and leadership.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience marketing Generative AI-powered products or AI solutions for customer experience, marketing automation, or content creation.
  • Familiarity with Adobe’s ecosystem of products or similar enterprise SaaS solutions.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
