CFA Institute is seeking a Director, Product Management to drive the next stage of growth for our expanding Certificates portfolio. You’ll define the strategy and bring to market innovative learning products that empower investment professionals worldwide to upskill with confidence. What You’ll Do
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the Certificates portfolio, working closely with business line General Managers and cross-functional teams to define strategy, set priorities, and deliver measurable outcomes.
Translate market insight, learner feedback, and usage data into clear product roadmaps that drive growth in revenue, engagement, and satisfaction.
Lead go-to-market planning and cross-functional alignment to ensure successful launches and ongoing adoption of certificate products in global markets.
Champion user needs and platform performance—partnering with design, engineering, and education teams to deliver seamless, scalable learning experiences.
Strengthen the learner journey through improvements in the LMS (Canvas familiarity preferred) and assessment models, including high-stakes and proctored environments.
Support the expansion of multilingual offerings and ensure products are relevant across diverse regional markets.
Build strong business cases, manage budgets responsibly, and provide mentorship and leadership across the product team, with the potential to build a small team over time.
What We’re Looking For
10+ years’ experience in product management, ideally in edtech, learning, or credentialing.
Proven track record of launching and scaling global products, ideally across multiple markets and languages.
Demonstrated success improving key product metrics such as sales, NPS, engagement, and on-time delivery through data-informed decision-making.
Hands-on experience with LMS platforms at scale—Canvas preferred—and comfort with assessment modalities including high-stakes and proctored testing.
Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence and collaborate in a global, matrixed environment.
Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; fluency in English essential (additional languages a plus). Experience within a membership or professional learning organisation is an advantage.

At CFA Institute, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring process. In compliance with wage transparency laws in many of the jurisdictions in which we recruit, we provide the following information regarding compensation for this position: Expected salary range: $130,000-$150,000 per year. All salary ranges are subject to adjustment based on experience, education, location and other factors relevant to the position. Additional benefits include eligibility for an annual incentive bonus, a 12% employer contribution to a 401(k) plan, and a comprehensive medical benefits package.
