The Director of Product Management, who will report directly under the Senior VP of Product Management, will leverage deep security expertise to collaborate with forward-thinking engineers and excited customers to ensure we have the most competitive and relevant cybersecurity solutions for service providers and enterprise customers. The Director of Product Management will work closely with the executive team to establish a winning strategy, and partner with our outstanding sales and marketing to ensure market adoption and rapid growth. This role requires a leader who can inspire teams, think strategically, and effectively communicate product value to both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of leadership, product vision, and customer-focused execution.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Vision and Strategy for Acronis Cybersecurity Products: Own the overall vision and go-to-market strategy for Acronis cybersecurity products (DLP, MDR, endpoint security: Endpoint Detection and Response / Extended Detection and Response, Endpoint Protection Platform, Email Security, and beyond)
- Cross team collaboration supervising: Collaborate with product marketing to support messaging and content creation, enable the Acronis sales team, and deliver positioning, pricing, and packaging
- Cross-Product Integrations Strategy: Define and drive discrete components of a cross-product integrations strategy across all layers - engineering, sales, marketing, and product
- Internal Business Collaboration: Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure business needs and directions are captured, and product visions are translated into executable roadmaps and release plans, identifying and tracking critical performance metrics and timelines throughout the project's life
- Defining and Tracking Measurable Outcomes: Define measurable outcomes for your teams and regularly track and report on progress
- Building and Managing a Diverse Team: Attract, build, and run a diverse team of dedicated product and program managers working on cybersecurity solutions
WHAT YOU BRING
- 10+ years of proven experience in Product Management roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experience must include owning the product portfolio for cybersecurity solutions such as vulnerability management, endpoint management (EDR, XDR, EPP), DLP, MDR, and email security.
- 5+ years track record of managing geographically distributed cross-functional teams (direct reports and daily stakeholders).
- Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product strategies.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with a track record of developing talent.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, and can articulate a compelling vision to internal and external customers.
- Demonstrable knowledge of cybersecurity products and the latest trends, cybersecurity certifications would be a plus and experience in a cybersecurity company preferred.
- Experience with planning, resourcing, budgeting, handling dependencies, long-term roadmaps, agile environments, project management, virtual teaming.
- Experience working cross-functionally on large projects with multiple engineering teams
- Ability to dive deep in technology and to convey complex ideas simply and clearly in written and verbal formats, including public speaking, demos and content development.
- Specific knowledge of MSP business models and the automation of their processes in service delivery. Additional knowledge of providers and B2B IT services highly desirable.
- Fluent English, both written and verbal.
