To continue to support our growth journey, we're in search of a Director of Product Management, focused on Go-to-Market (GTM) Technology. In this highly strategic and critical role, you will be accountable for defining and executing a vision that drives substantial value for stakeholders across our Go-To-Market funnel, enabling them to scale their efforts and deeply engage our customers.

You will be responsible for setting the strategic direction for our GTM technology ecosystem, ensuring we are tackling the most impactful priorities with robust plans, constantly communicating progress and strategic shifts to executive stakeholders. This role will have strategic oversight of Toast's core sales and GTM technologies, including Salesforce, emerging AI tools, and leading SaaS applications. You will be a pivotal leader within our product organization, driving significant impact in an area vital for Toast's future growth and market leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Define and deliver the long-term strategic vision and multi-year product roadmap for Toast's GTM ecosystem, aligning it with company-wide growth objectives.
  • Drive and optimize the strategic prioritization process for major operational/system improvements, strategic initiatives, and complex cross-functional programs across GTM technology domains.
  • Cultivate deep, proactive partnerships with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Engineering to define complex business problems, gain alignment on solutions, and ensure successful cross-functional delivery of highly impactful initiatives.
  • Lead the creation of detailed strategic documentation for current and future state system architecture, comprehensive business requirements, and scalable solution designs in close collaboration with Business SMEs, Enterprise Architects, and development teams.
  • Be accountable for product execution excellence, including establishing key performance indicators (KPIs), measuring business results, and driving continuous iteration and optimization of implemented solutions at scale.
  • Possess intimate, nuanced knowledge of complex business policies, processes, and programs across diverse GTM functions, juggling persona needs and operational constraints to make effective trade offs.
  • Serve as a recognized subject matter expert on Sales and GTM technology best practices, emerging trends, and available enterprise tools to strategically scale business processes and enable Toast's overarching company strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of progressive Product Management leadership experience, with a strong focus on enterprise GTM system implementation, transformation, and strategic oversight.
  • Exceptional executive presence, influence, and negotiation skills; demonstrated ability to build strong, enduring relationships with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders across the organization.
  • Proficient in Product management tools including Jira, Confluence, Process Mapping Software, & Emerging AI tools.
  • Proven track record of owning and executing product strategy.
  • Proven ability to influence across teams and make data-informed decisions.
  • An enduring sense of curiosity with a desire to continuously learn and evolve.

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions, if eligible), benefits, and equity (if eligible).

Pay Range
$182,000$291,000 USD
