Job Summary: 

As the Director of Product & Customer Insights, you will be accountable for all complex product-related analyses, pricing strategy & insights and consumer intelligence work. Your work will marry the art of qualitative evaluations with the science of rigorous data analysis. Day-to-day, you will help cross-functional partners deeply understand product P&L performance & opportunities, deliver products to customers at the optimal prices, and curate the most delightful shopping experience possible. This role is perfect for an established analytics leader with an affinity for complex quantitative problem solving and creative storytelling.


What You’ll Do:


  • Deliver actionable quantitative insights to drive clear decision-making across Product Management, Merchandising, Textile Design, and Marketing
  • Own all analytics related to NPS, RER, and overall product P&L performance
  • Drive retail pricing strategy for all new and existing Ruggable products
  • Author long-term pricing roadmap in coordination with Finance & Digital, and perform rigorous statistical analyses to measure financial impact of pricing adjustments
  • Establish a deep understanding of Ruggable's current and potential future customers in service of Marketing, Product, and Operations
  • Refine and build upon our customer segmentation efforts, conducting targeted deep dives on desirable segments (e.g., male & “super” customers)
  • Build, manage, and develop a team of 3-5 analytics professionals across 3 disciplines


What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:


  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics in one or more relevant industries
  • Experience building and managing a team of data and/or analytics professionals
  • Strong ability to translate disparate information into actionable insights
  • Exceptional quantitative problem solving and analytical modeling skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and manage multiple priorities effectively


Preferred:


  • Experience in consumer goods, home goods, and/or eCommerce businesses
  • Experience in management consulting, market research, and/or corporate strategy
  • Experience in a consumer intelligence or related function
  • Experience using business intelligence software (e.g. Looker)
  • Experience managing end-to-end programming, execution, and analysis of customer surveys, interviews, focus groups, etc.
  • Experience running and interpreting statistical analyses (e.g. K-Means) in a professional or academic setting
  • Ability to write SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
  • Ability to use programming languages (either R or Python) to perform data analysis


Compensation:

$160k-200k per year base salary

  • An annual bonus percentage that varies based on level of role
  • Employer matching (up to 3% of base salary) for company sponsored 401K plan
