Director, Control Plane, Rubrik Security CloudLocation: Palo Alto, CA

Rubrik Security Cloud (RSC) is the single pane of glass for Rubrik customers, central to managing their cyber resilience needs. As the Director of Control Plane, you will lead the growth and strategy of RSC, driving innovation and delivering intuitive, scalable, and impactful SaaS capabilities.

You will oversee a team of skilled Product Managers, advancing all flavors of RSC and the development of Rubrik’s Agentic platform, which allows for the creation of agents directly on RSC—unleashing the full power of Rubrik’s platform. With a strong focus on SaaS, AI-driven automation, and public sector innovations, this role requires a visionary leader with experience growing SaaS platforms and a solid understanding of private cloud and emerging AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead the vision and strategy for Rubrik Security Cloud (RSC) as Rubrik’s core SaaS platform and customer-facing control plane.
  • Drive the growth of the Agentic platform, enabling Rubrik to deliver AI-powered automation and insights through agent-driven functionality.
  • Grow RSC’s feature set to address enterprise and public sector customers, ensuring compliance, scalability, and enhanced cyber resilience.
  • Collaborate with other teams (Engineering, Sales, Customer Success) to execute on a roadmap that aligns with business objectives.
  • Identify and develop strategic partnerships with key technology and SaaS providers.
  • Define success metrics for Control Plane capabilities and use outcomes to measure impact and guide future investments.
  • Scale the Control Plane team while mentoring Product Managers to deliver cutting-edge, customer-first solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proven experience driving the growth and innovation of scalable SaaS platforms.
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies to enable intelligent automation and advanced insights.
  • Understanding of private cloud infrastructure and integrations with SaaS solutions to address customer needs.
  • Proven experience with cross-functional team management and partnerships in the SaaS and technology space.
  • Strong track record in delivering secure, scalable, and impactful solutions to enterprise and public sector customers.
  • Customer-centric approach, with the ability to anticipate and address customer pain points.

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
