We are seeking an experienced Director, Procurement Operations to lead, optimize and own our end-to-end procurement processes. This role will oversee key functions including procurement contracts management, vendor onboarding, and the entire procure-to-PO process and systems. The ideal candidate is obsessed with process design, continuous improvement, and brings a proven track record of leading culture-shifting Procurement initiatives that elevate their team as a key business partner. What You’ll Do:
- Lead the team responsible for vendor onboarding, procurement contracts management and purchasing activities
- Serve as a partner to Strategic Sourcing, Legal, Finance, Security, Privacy, IT, and business stakeholders by leading the streamlining of cross-functional workflows and ensuring procurement processes are compliant and scalable
- Establish metrics such as KPIs and SLAs for the end-to-end Procurement process and continually monitor and collaborate with the groups involved to ensure adherence and accountability
- Oversee the contracts lifecycle process including intake, negotiation support, execution, and repository management
- Ensure contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, reduce risk, and align with the company’s risk tolerance
- Act as a champion for process excellence by consistently and continually identifying and implementing process improvements, automation and AI use opportunities across the P2P lifecycle to reduce friction, increase speed, and improve compliance
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement with a strong focus on data and cross-functional collaboration
Who You Are:
- 10+ years of experience in Procurement and at least 5 years of experience managing a team
- Proven track record of owning and optimizing procurement and contracts processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Deep understanding of procurement systems. Experience with Zip or other orchestration tools required. Experience with Jira and BI tools like Tableau preferred.
- Strong knowledge of contract terminology, negotiation tactics, and third-party risk frameworks.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on metrics, reporting, and operational rigor.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence at all levels of the organization.
