ClickUp is seeking a visionary and results-driven leader to define and drive our end-to-end pricing, packaging, and growth strategy. As the Director of Pricing and Packaging, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our monetization approach, optimizing revenue, and accelerating product-led growth. You will leverage your deep expertise in SaaS pricing models, monetization strategy, product packaging, and billing systems to set industry standards and maximize company-wide impact.

The Role:
  • Define and execute comprehensive pricing, packaging, and growth strategies aligned with ClickUp’s long-term business goals and market vision.
  • Lead the development of innovative pricing models, packaging solutions, and product growth initiatives, using experimentation and data-driven insights to optimize revenue, user adoption, and retention.
  • Identify and capitalize on monetization opportunities across the entire product journey, including onboarding, feature adoption, upsell/cross-sell flows, and customer retention.
  • Foster strategic alignment and collaboration across product, marketing, finance, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution and maximize the impact of monetization strategies.
  • Anticipate market trends and drive innovative approaches to pricing, packaging, and product-led growth, positioning ClickUp as a leader in SaaS monetization.
  • Serve as a key advisor to the executive leadership team, providing actionable insights and shaping company-wide monetization and growth strategies.
  • Own the financial outcomes of monetization initiatives, leveraging data analysis and market research to drive revenue optimization, user engagement, and competitive differentiation.
  • Report regularly to senior leadership on pricing and growth performance, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in pricing, monetization, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role and 5+ years of direct experience in pricing and packaging roles required.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing company-wide pricing and packaging strategies with measurable financial outcomes.
  • Extensive experience in SaaS or technology industries, with a deep understanding of global markets, competitive positioning, scalable monetization models, and billing systems.
  • Proven experience with billing systems, consumption-based pricing, and product-led growth (PLG) pricing models.
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and creative problem-solving skills; adept at using data analysis and market research to inform decisions.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross-functional leadership abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field required; MBA preferred.

USA Salary Range (OTE)
$255,000$305,000 USD
