The Director of Pharmacy will lead all aspects of pharmacy operations, including planning, organizing, and supervising services in alignment with hospital policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with hospital leadership to implement innovative pharmacy practices, supported by proprietary CPS software, a dedicated support team including experts in operations, clinical, and regulatory as well as a CPS Area Director or Senior Vice President.
Pharmacy Location: Located within Holzer Health, 100 Jackson Pike, Gallipolis, OH 45631
Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm

Required Qualifications:
- ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree (PharmD preferred)
- Active Ohio state Pharmacist license in good standing
- 2+ years of pharmacy management experience over multiple departments within a healthcare system (3+ years preferred)
- Proven ability to provide strategic leadership and oversight for all pharmacy services within a single hospital, aligning operations with the hospital's clinical, quality, and financial goals
- Proven ability to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based medication use, overseeing clinical pharmacy practice, medication safety, and formulary management
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and hold accountability for pharmacy leadership and staff, including managers, pharmacists, technicians, and support teams
- Proven ability to ensure compliance with all regulatory, accreditation, and legal requirements, including Joint Commission, CMS, USP, BOP and state/federal laws
- Proven ability to oversee pharmacy financial performance, including budgeting, purchasing, contract management, and cost-containment initiatives
- Proven ability to collaborate with executive leadership and interdisciplinary stakeholders, supporting system-wide patient care, quality, and safety initiatives
- Proven ability to drive innovation, performance improvement, and strategic growth, leveraging data, technology, and best practices to advance pharmacy services

- 3+ years of experience as a pharmacist in an acute care hospital setting
