Scopely is looking for a Director, Performance Marketing to join our Performance Marketing team in Culver City on a hybrid basis to support a new unannounced game!

The Performance Marketing team is focused on driving player growth and efficiency across various digital marketing channels. The teams are based in Europe and the US.  The Performance Marketing  team’s mobile advertising ecosystem is an always-changing, rapidly growing world, and at Scopely, you'll play a key part in our next big leap in user growth. Our mission is to make experiences that our players love and keep coming back to time and time again.

In this role, you will play a critical part in launching and scaling our next major title, shaping the future of user acquisition at Scopely.

What You’ll Do:

You will lead performance marketing efforts for a new, unannounced title, driving global user growth and building scalable acquisition strategies from pre-launch through live operations. This role partners closely with Product, Finance, Analytics, Growth Marketing, Creative, and Data Engineering, and sits within Scopely’s Performance Marketing organization.

  • Own and lead global go-to-market strategy and execution for the new title, from pre-launch testing through global scale
  • Define and execute user acquisition strategies, methodologies, and processes to achieve aggressive growth and efficiency targets
  • Partner with Product and Growth teams to align UA strategy with game positioning, audience targeting, and lifecycle marketing
  • Build and scale high-performing acquisition programs across key channels (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok, DSPs, ad networks, and emerging platforms)
  • Establish and optimise full-funnel measurement frameworks, including KPI definition, attribution strategy, incrementality testing, and LTV modeling
  • Drive deep analytical insights into campaign performance, working with Analytics and Data Science to improve forecasting and decision-making
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of performance marketers, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance creative strategy, marketing tech stack, automation, and fraud prevention systems
  • Champion a culture of experimentation—testing new channels, formats, and bidding strategies to unlock incremental growth opportunities
  • Manage and optimize multi-million dollar marketing budgets with a focus on ROI and long-term player value

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 8+ years of performance marketing / user acquisition experience, ideally within mobile gaming or consumer apps.
  • 4+ years of people management experience, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams
  • Proven success managing and scaling multi-million dollar acquisition budgets across multiple channels
  • Strong experience with major platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic networks, etc.)
  • Demonstrated expertise in go-to-market strategy, launch planning, and scaling new products
  • Deep analytical mindset with experience in attribution, incrementality testing, LTV modeling, and performance forecasting
  • Track record of driving significant growth through improvements in automation, marketing tech, or data infrastructure
  • Experience working with global, cross-functional teams across multiple time zones
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Bonus: Experience in casual, puzzle, or social mobile games

For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA, the annual salary range is provided below. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
