SprintRay is seeking a business-first Human Resources executive who brings operational insight and HR expertise to the table. This leader will act as a strategic partner to the President and executive team—guiding HR initiatives that directly support business performance, growth, and cross-functional execution.

This role is more than HR—it’s about shaping business outcomes through people. The Director will collaborate closely with executive leaders to drive operational efficiency, workforce strategy, and cultural alignment at scale. We’re looking for someone who can think like an executive, advise the C-suite, and translate strategy into actionable people initiatives. This position demands a sharp commercial mindset, the ability to influence across functions, and the urgency to drive meaningful change.

Reporting directly to the President, you will shape the future of SprintRay’s workforce, culture, and performance—guiding our People Services teams in the U.S., India, EMEA, and across international markets. As SprintRay celebrates its 10th anniversary and accelerates into its next phase of global growth, this is a rare opportunity to help shape our future from the inside out—at the intersection of innovation, transformation, and culture.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Executive Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, aligning HR initiatives with business growth, operational needs, and evolving market dynamics.
  • Lead a bi-continental People Services team (U.S. and India), advise our EMEA HR team, and coordinate with our PEO partner in Latin America.
  • Act as a cultural architect—helping scale leadership capability, elevate performance, and drive engagement across global teams.
  • Build leadership development, succession, and performance optimization programs that fuel business outcomes.

Operational Excellence & Global HR Management

  • Direct HR operations across the U.S., Canada, India, and Latin America, with a strong emphasis on California compliance and global consistency.
  • Own compensation strategy, benefits programs, and pay equity practices to ensure competitiveness and fairness across markets.
  • Provide strategic counsel to our EMEA partners, ensuring alignment with global standards while respecting regional nuance.
  • Integrate AI, analytics, and HR tech to deliver smart, streamlined people operations and decision-making.

Culture, Change, and Engagement

  • Lead change management initiatives that support rapid scale and cultural transformation.
  • Design and execute employee engagement programs that align with SprintRay’s core values and business priorities.
  • Partner with leaders to resolve complex people issues with clarity, speed, and fairness.
  • Facilitate company-wide communications, internal events, and rituals that build community and alignment across geographies.

What We’re Looking For

  • 15+ years in progressive HR roles, with global leadership experience and executive-level advisory capability.
  • Proven ability to lead in fast-paced, high-growth environments with a bias for action and measurable outcomes.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. labor law (especially California), with international HR exposure across Canada, India, and EMEA.
  • Strong financial literacy and business acumen—you speak the language of P&L, operations, and growth strategy.
  • Expertise in HR analytics, organizational design, talent strategy, and compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. SHRM-SCP, PHR, or CPTD a plus.

Target Salary

$140,000 - $170,000 plus annual bonus (commensurate with experience and documented outcomes) and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and more.

Actual compensation packages are determined based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including geographic location, skill set, relevant education and certifications, depth of experience, and performance, as well as current business and organizational needs. The estimated range provided may not reflect the final offer, which is tailored to the individual. In addition to base salary, total compensation may include an annual performance bonus, comprehensive medical/dental/vision benefits, and other forms of compensation, where applicable.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
