What you'll do
As Director of Partnerships, you will own the full partnership lifecycle from strategy and outbound development through contract execution, activation, and revenue growth.
You will:
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy to acquire new B2B ecommerce marketplaces, fintech platforms, and financial services partners
- Drive predictable pipeline creation by building and refining outbound motion, outreach strategy, and industry engagement
- Own complex deal progression from initial conversation through contract execution, partnering closely with product, legal, compliance, onboarding, marketing, and finance
- Evaluate partnership opportunities through financial modeling and strategic analysis to ensure strong unit economics and long-term value
- Forecast revenue accurately and hold accountability for partner performance post-launch
- Influence internal product and roadmap discussions based on partner and market insights
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of quota-carrying B2B sales or partnerships experience specifically within B2B payments, ecommerce, fintech, or financial services - Candidates without direct experience in at least two of these verticals will not be considered
- Demonstrated success selling to or partnering with ecommerce platforms, B2B marketplaces, payment service providers (PSPs), or fintech infrastructure providers, with verifiable examples of deals sourced, structured, and closed
- Excellent communication skills and experience presenting to C-level stakeholders and managing objections in real time
- Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to structure and close complex partnership agreements
- Demonstrated track record of driving revenue growth through partnership generation and channel development
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and perform well under pressure
- High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a consistent drive to exceed goals and expectations
- Team-first mindset with a desire to contribute to broader organizational priorities beyond immediate responsibilities
