We are currently hiring a Director, Partner Marketing to own and grow Progressive Leasing's marketing relationships with retail partners across enterprise, mid-market, regional, and e-commerce segments. This leader manages a team of Partner Marketing Managers who create innovative, partner-specific programs that drive GMV for our partners and for Progressive Leasing. Reporting to the SVP, Marketing, you will work closely with Sales, eCommerce, Finance, and Product to build annual partner plans and hold the team accountable for results. This is a high-visibility role based in Draper, UT (hybrid) or remote.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Own and grow marketing relationships with retail partners across enterprise, mid-market, regional, and e-commerce segments, serving as a trusted strategic advisor to partner marketing and merchandising leaders
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Partner Marketing Managers, setting clear priorities, performance expectations, and growth paths
  • Drive innovative ideas and campaigns, including co-marketing, in-store and online promotions, lifecycle and CRM programs, paid and owned media, and seasonal and event-based activations, that increase GMV
  • Work with Sales leadership to build annual partner marketing plans, including goals, budgets, calendars, and campaign performance targets for each partner
  • Establish KPIs and reporting for partner campaigns; analyze performance with Analytics and Sales and translate results into optimizations and best practices that scale across the partner base
  • Build testing and learning frameworks to continuously improve campaign engagement, application volume, conversion, and GMV
  • Manage the partner marketing budget and co-op/marketing development funds, ensuring spend is aligned to ROI and partner strategy
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Creative, CRM, Performance Media, Digital/E-commerce, Product, Analytics, and Legal/Compliance to deliver integrated partner programs
  • Develop partner-facing marketing toolkits, sales enablement materials, and training so partner associates and field teams effectively promote lease-to-own
  • Lead partner business reviews and present marketing plans, results, and opportunities to partners and executive leadership
  • Ensure all partner marketing materials comply with legal, regulatory, and brand governance requirements
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategy, partner segmentation, and long-term growth planning as a key voice in marketing leadership

YOU'LL BRING:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or master's degree is a plus
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience, including 5+ years leading and developing teams
  • Experience in partner, channel, retail, shopper, or co-marketing, preferably within consumer finance, fintech, lease-to-own, retail, or e-commerce
  • Proven track record of building and executing marketing plans that drive measurable sales or GMV growth
  • Experience building relationships with and influencing external partners and senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work with Sales teams on annual planning, goal setting, and performance management
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data to measure campaign performance, manage ROI, and guide decisions
  • Experience managing budgets and agency or vendor relationships
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strategic thinking, business acumen, and a partner-centric mindset
