We’re seeking an exceptional Director of Operations to take ownership of the company’s creative and production infrastructure. This role sits at the center of our team, overseeing the design, video production, and development pipelines while also leading recruitment efforts to ensure we are consistently maintaining an all star team.
 
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving environments and is excited about juggling multiple priorities without losing focus. They bring operational rigor to creative work, ensuring that ideas move efficiently from concept to execution, while maintaining the highest standard of quality. This role requires someone who is structured, decisive, and deeply accountable. 
 
The Director of Operations must develop an integrated understanding of each active account, ensuring that workflow, resourcing, deadlines, and creative output are aligned with client expectations and company standards. 

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage project timelines and scope across design, video production and development pipelines to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Lead talent acquisition efforts, including identifying hiring needs, sourcing candidates, coordinating interviews, and supporting onboarding for open roles.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment by partnering with creative, development, marketing, and executive teams to maintain a high standard of product quality and client deliverables. 
  • Lead project tracking and reporting, providing consistent visibility into status, progress, risks, and delivery milestones.
  • Oversee issue identification and resolution, ensuring blockers are surfaced early and resolved efficiently in collaboration with the executive and marketing teams.
  • Support operational transparency by providing team members with accurate reporting on actual vs. estimated costs, timelines, scope changes, quotes, feature requests, and enhancements.
  • Maintain operational discipline through project management, ensuring documentation, workflows, and internal systems are organized and up to date.
  • Oversee QA processes for development initiatives, ensuring deliverables meet internal standards before client delivery.
  • Conduct research and strategic analysis to support development, design, and marketing initiatives when required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years work experience within an agency 
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Superior attention to detail, and strives to ensure overall quality
  • Ability to learn quickly, ask relevant questions, and adapt to change
  • Ability to create and maintain process documentation
  • Ability to follow a process that works in both a creative and/or technical environment
  • Comfortable working in agency/creative environment
  • Knowledge of project management processes and documentation
  • Experience using Basecamp, Slack and/or similar tools for project monitoring
  • Experience clearly documenting and communicating requests and reporting requirements to internal teams
  • Fantastic relationship builder with strong collaborative skills
