Reporting to the CEO, the Director of Operations will oversee strategic execution across PragerU’s diverse programming for both adults and children. This role requires exceptional administrative support skills, strong project management, excellent memory, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate has experience advising at the executive level, anticipating and resolving issues proactively, and managing cross-functional efforts in fundraising, marketing, operations, and content production. While broad familiarity is preferred, we welcome candidates with deep expertise in one or more areas and a willingness to grow.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive operational efficiency and ensure consistent progress on key initiatives
  • Collaborate with team leads across marketing, production, and kids content to align priorities and optimize resources organization-wide
  • Facilitate clear, consistent cross-departmental communication and implement systems to effectively circulate key information throughout the organization
  • Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO and executive team, ensuring accuracy, follow-through, and timely execution of priorities
  • Maintain excellent memory for details and deadlines; ensure no tasks or action items fall through the cracks
  • Lead projects from start to finish: identify bottlenecks, surface opposing viewpoints, brief the CEO on challenges, and propose actionable solutions
  • Apply strong project management skills to coordinate teams, track progress, and deliver results on time and within scope
  • Support staff in developing systems and SOPs to ensure high-quality, repeatable program execution and minimize operational risk
  • Draft and review internal and external communications, including briefs and reports
  • Act as a liaison between staff, executive team, and the CEO, ensuring alignment and efficient information flow

Successful Candidates Will Possess:

  • 10-15+ years in a relevant management role 
  • Polished, excellent communicator in written and verbal form
  • Extremely versatile, dedicated to optimizing productivity, able to iterate in a quick-moving fashion
  • Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives alike
  • Proven experience planning and leading strategic initiatives from conception to execution
  • Strong relationship builder with staff, vendors, and other key stakeholders
  • Ability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders (staff, donors, Board Members, etc.)
  • Dedicated with a servant leadership mindset to help the Company and CEO succeed as mission #1
  • Happy to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and thrive in a complex environment with multiple priorities
  • Work well in teams /collaboratively with no ego, committed to learning the system first before trying to change the system 
  • Has great ability to forecast issues before they arise, and great cognitive abilities
  • Passion for PragerU's mission to further what we call "Americanism" and familiarity with the concepts espoused in our digital content

Salary Range: The salary target for this role is $150,000 - $200,000. Final offer amounts depend on multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise, and most recent market data. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on personal and company performance, in addition to our robust benefits package.
