About the Role

The Director, North America Field Sales & Education will lead the strategy and execution of the brand's field sales and education programs across the U.S. and Canada. This role is responsible for developing initiatives that drive sell-through, strengthen brand awareness, and elevate the in-store consumer experience. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Education, and Retail partners, this leader will oversee field team strategy, retailer education, training programs, and retail activations while ensuring consistent execution across key retail channels.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the North America field sales and education strategy to drive retail performance, brand awareness, and sell-through.
  • Lead and support the field team across the U.S. and Canada, ensuring consistent execution of brand initiatives and retail priorities.
  • Partner closely with key retail accounts, including Sephora and Ulta, to support business objectives and strengthen retail relationships.
  • Develop comprehensive education materials, training content, and curriculum for retail partners and internal field teams.
  • Create and implement training programs that equip Beauty Advisors and field teams with product knowledge, selling techniques, and brand storytelling.
  • Support new store openings by coordinating field support, education, merchandising, and launch execution.
  • Plan and manage store gratis, product sampling, promotional collateral, events, and gift-with-purchase (GWP) programs in alignment with product priorities and budget.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Brand, and Commercial teams to execute integrated retail initiatives.
  • Analyze field performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity, execution, and overall retail performance.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively while maximizing ROI across field and education initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in field sales, retail education, sales leadership, or commercial marketing within the beauty, personal care, or luxury consumer goods industry.
  • Experience partnering with prestige beauty retailers such as Sephora, Ulta, or comparable retail partners.
  • Proven success developing and leading field sales and education strategies that drive retail performance and consumer engagement.
  • Strong experience creating training programs, educational content, and retail selling tools.
  • Experience supporting new store openings, retail events, and in-store activations.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, merchandising, and field execution.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze business performance and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Willingness to travel throughout North America as business needs require.

The salary range for this role is $140,000 $150,000 annually based on experience. (with potential opportunity for equity package)
