This role is crucial to ensuring that members fully understand, adopt, and benefit from our services—from acquisition to onboarding and sustained care. You will directly manage a team of 3 individuals and be responsible for maximizing our # of new enrollments, member activation, and member lifetime value. You will partner closely with Client Management, Implementation, Clinical Operations, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to craft messaging and programs that are relevant, personalized, and impactful. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, client orientation, marketing automation expertise, and strong executional skills.

Responsibilities Include:

    • Overseeing the personas and personalized campaigns tailored to member goals, demographics, and other factors

  • Campaign Development & Execution

    • Collaborate with client, clinical, product and design teams to develop impactful and empathetic content

    • Coordinate timing and delivery of campaigns with client teams and internal stakeholders

  • Data-Driven Optimization

    • Define and track KPIs (e.g., enrollment rates, engagement rates, retention), and establish quarterly OKRs based on these KPIs

    • Partner with Analytics to build dashboards and analyze performance; conduct A/B tests to refine messaging and cadence

    • Translate findings into actionable insights for the team to leverage for ongoing campaign improvement

    • Leverage AI to optimize campaigns and team productivity

  • Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Build and own our content calendar, and regularly train our client team on using it accordingly

    • Partner with our Client team and attend meetings as needed to pitch campaigns

    • Build growth opportunities and provide mentorship to your direct reports

    • Manage and own the member marketing budget

You'll be a good fit here if you are:

  • A player/coach, who can roll up their sleeves while also developing a team

  • Deeply empathetic to our clients and the patient experience, and passionate about digestive health

  • An expert communicator with a blend of creativity and precision

  • Highly analytical and comfortable using data to tell a story and drive action, with regular A/B testing being how you operate

  • An operator at heart who loves building scalable, automated systems

  • Agile, self-directed, and ready to thrive in a high-growth startup environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • 7+ years in member marketing or enrollment/growth marketing

  • 2+ years running a member marketing team

  • Experience in digital health, wellness, chronic care, or value-based care models

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
