Mammoth Distribution, a leading cannabis company, is seeking a strategic Director of Marketing to help drive our marketing vision and execution. This role oversees marketing to boost brand loyalty and growth across the customer journey. The ideal candidate blends analytics and creativity, aligning initiatives with our mission for quality cannabis and outstanding customer experiences. Candidates who started their own brand preferred, but not required.

Key Deliverables:
  • Develop marketing strategies and KPIs to drive brand growth and customer loyalty.
  • Prioritize marketing requests, translating vision into actionable plans with the CMO.
  • Analyze campaign performance across channels, optimizing with data-driven insights.
  • Create dashboards to track KPIs, sharing actionable reports with leadership.
  • Enhance customer experience across touchpoints, identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Implement marketing automation to streamline campaign execution.
  • Manage vendors, budgets, and projects to maximize ROI and ensure timely delivery.
  • Mentor a marketing team, fostering collaboration and innovation.
Key Indicators of Success:
  • Brand Growth: Achieve year-over-year increase in engagement metrics (acquisition, retention, advocacy).
  • Campaign ROI: Improve marketing ROI within the first year.
  • Efficiency: Reduce campaign execution time.
  • Customer Experience: Boost customer knowledge and satisfaction.
Knowledge/Experience:
  • 6+ years in marketing operations/strategy, with proven KPI success.
  • 2+ years leading teams, fostering growth and accountability.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, analytics, and automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
  • Cannabis or CPG experience preferred; passion for the industry required.
  • Previous experience with starting and marketing their own cannabis or CPG brand preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; or equivalent experience.
Physical Requirements:
  • Clear vision, hearing, and speech for communication.
  • Able to work at a computer/phone for 8+ hours daily.
  • Comfortable on-site in varied environments (hot/cold).
  • Adaptable to occasional travel/fieldwork.
