The Director, Marketing Operations & Project Management project manages and supports the cross-functional teams to successfully lead go-to-market plans and drive strategic growth initiatives for the company. The right person for the role will have a proven track record of creating effective systems and project planning tools. They will have the ability to quickly identify risks, solve roadblocks, and concurrently drive multiple projects forward while coordinating teams.
This role will be responsible for leading, managing, planning, and tracking strategic and tactical steps of a brand or product launch campaign through the marketing lifecycle, considering critical inputs from other business units. This role will focus on leading overall project plans, communication, risk analysis, and implementation of highly visible multi-faceted GTM campaigns.
The Director, Marketing Operations & Project Management will work closely with multiple, global cross-functional departments (e.g. Brand Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Product Development, Creative) to oversee the global launch strategy and successfully bring campaigns to market. They will help ensure that various stakeholders clearly understand their respective key steps and/or milestones for a successful project delivery.
WHAT YOU DO:
- Own end-to-end and track project plans and timelines for annual brand and product launch campaigns
- Design the overall project plan, and the development of project timelines; from product sign-off to consumer live date with a focus on marketing activities and key milestones
- Manage and monitor the end-to-end project timelines for 3-4 yearly GTM initiatives, leading regular status meetings with key stakeholders to ensure all critical milestones are achieved in the plan
- Lead collaborative relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, ensuring they are kept appropriately informed of project activities and kept accountable for respective steps
- Deliver clear, concise, and effective executive level communication
Identify, secure, and coordinate implementation of internal and external resources and expertise to achieve project objectives, ensuring the team is appropriately staffed for upcoming projects - Ensure that projects are proceeding according to timelines, meeting milestones and budget
- Anticipating and planning for changes in project as necessary to achieve project success
- Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership
- Effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate team or outside partners
- Define success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle
YOU’LL LOVE THIS JOB IF:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communications or business. Agency experience preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience within project management
- Ability to effectively communicate with executive leadership and all levels of an organization
- Strong leader with the ability to clearly communicate and gain alignment with cross functional team members
- Entrepreneurial and ambitious, with the ability to spot opportunities and work independently with minimal supervision
- Works creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork and innovation

- Must be able to work from Corporate Office at least 60% of the time
The expected base salary range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000. The exact base salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, and budget. This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
