Job Title/High-Level Position Summary:

The Senior Director of Market Activation will lead the development and execution of integrated go-to-market strategies to drive growth, customer acquisition, and brand engagement. This role requires a visionary leader who can translate business objectives into actionable market activation plans, ensuring alignment across all channels and teams. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, operational excellence, and creative innovation to deliver measurable impact in dynamic and competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement market activation strategies to support business growth and expansion in target markets.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and brand marketing, to align initiatives with overarching business goals.
  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to inform strategy and execution.

Market Activation Execution

  • Oversee the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, traditional, and experiential channels.
  • Understand and optimize channel performance through data-driven insights and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Ensure seamless execution of regional and local market programs that resonate with target audiences.

Collaboration and Influence

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and sales force, to drive alignment and deliver results
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, KOLs, customers and patients.
  • Act as the primary advocate for market activation, communicating its value across the organization.

Performance Measurement

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of market activation efforts.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership, showcasing campaign performance and business impact.
  • Adjust strategies and tactics based on performance data and feedback.

Team Management

  • Lead and motivate team members to achieve individual and collective goals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Oversee performance management, including setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, and conducting performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement team strategies to optimize workflow efficiency, resolve conflicts, and promote professional growth.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on market activation, campaign management, or related area
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams and cross-functional projects.
  • Strong strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with expertise in leveraging data for decision-making.
  • Deep understanding of marketing channels and customer engagement tactics.
  • Ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.

Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time; both domestic and international travel is required.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience in Orthopedics.
  • MBA
  • Expertise in digital marketing, CRM platforms, and marketing automation tools.
  • Track record of successful market launches and demand generation campaigns.
