Position Overview 

The Director of M&A Marketing leads the development and execution of marketing strategies that support Choreo’s inorganic growth initiatives. This role is responsible for positioning Choreo as the preferred acquisition and partnership platform for independent wealth management firms, RIAs, CPA firms, and strategic partners. 

This individual will create compelling acquisition narratives, develop high-impact deal marketing materials, support business development and M&A teams throughout the pipeline process, and drive targeted outreach campaigns that strengthen awareness, engagement, and conversion. The ideal candidate is both highly strategic and hands-on, with deep experience in B2B marketing, financial services, M&A communications, and executive stakeholder management. 

Core Responsibilities 

M&A Marketing Strategy 

  • Develop and lead integrated marketing strategies that support Choreo’s acquisition and partnership growth objectives.  
  • Build differentiated positioning and messaging that clearly communicates Choreo’s value proposition to prospective firms.  
  • Partner closely with executive leadership, corporate development, and business development teams to align marketing initiatives with pipeline priorities.  
  • Identify market trends, competitive insights, and industry opportunities to inform acquisition messaging and outreach strategies.  

 

Deal Enablement & Pipeline Support 

  • Create best-in-class marketing and presentation materials for prospective acquisition targets and strategic partners, including:  
  • Pitch decks  
  • Acquisition narratives  
  • Executive presentations  
  • One-pagers  
  • Video and digital content  
  • Case studies and success stories  
  • Support deal teams throughout the buyer journey by ensuring consistent, compelling communication at every stage of the pipeline.  
  • Collaborate with leadership to tailor messaging for target audiences including RIAs, CPAs, entrepreneurs, and financial advisors.  

Campaigns & Outreach 

  • Design and execute targeted outreach campaigns to prospective firms and strategic partners using AI-enabled digital, email, content, and event-based marketing.  
  • Partner with sales and business development teams to improve lead generation, engagement, and conversion effectiveness.  
  • Develop thought leadership campaigns that elevate Choreo’s brand visibility within the wealth management and advisory ecosystem.  
  • Manage conference marketing, sponsorships, and industry event communications tied to growth initiatives.  

 

Brand & Content Leadership 

  • Ensure consistency of brand voice and positioning across all M&A-related communications.  
  • Oversee the creation of strategic content that reinforces Choreo’s reputation as an innovative and growth-oriented partner.  
  • Work cross-functionally with internal marketing, communications, design, and external agency partners to deliver high-quality content and experiences.  

 

Analytics & Performance 

  • Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure campaign effectiveness, pipeline engagement, and conversion outcomes.  
  • Analyze marketing performance data and continuously optimize messaging, targeting, and channel strategy.  
  • Provide regular reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.  

 

Required Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, or a related field.  
  • 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, growth marketing, corporate communications, or M&A marketing.  
  • Experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, private equity, wealth management, financial services, or professional services industries.  
  • Demonstrated success creating executive-level presentations and strategic marketing campaigns.  
  • Strong understanding of acquisition pipelines, relationship marketing, and deal enablement strategies.  
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills.  
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment.  

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience within RIA, wealth management, fintech, accounting, or advisory services sectors.  
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Marketo. 
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership and cross-functional deal teams.  
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
