About your role

We are seeking an innovative, analytical Lifecycle Marketing leader to lead a high-performing team and support continued business growth. In this highly visible role, you will own the execution and evolution of critical product notification, nurture and engagement programs that are the lifeblood of the Rocket Lawyer business.  

This leader is the embodiment of a modern lifecycle marketing team's "flow state," demonstrating a signature combination of audience strategy, data management, technology, flawless execution, and continuous optimization.

You are comfortable navigating a matrixed organization,  actively collaborating across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data, and Finance/BI functions informing strategies and campaigns, and utilizing all elements of customer behavioral data to optimize  program outcomes. 

You are a skilled people manager, focused in equal measure on execution and sharing your expertise and experience to further develop and mentor your talented team members. 

How you will make a difference day to day

  • Lead the diverse, global team of lifecycle marketing specialists responsible for campaign and program delivery / optimization in email, push and SMS. Ensure appropriate resourcing and the development necessary for career growth and to meet evolving business needs.
  • Design, build and optimize the notification, nurture and awareness programs to engage customers where they are and bring them back into the product experience
  • Be the business owner for the data and critical technologies necessary for lifecycle marketing program delivery today and ensure future readiness: customer data, audience creation, behavioral events, dynamic content.  Stay up to date with the pace of change in the lifecycle marketing technologies, bringing relevant insights and requirements back to the business for continuous experimentation and innovation.
  • Actively collaborate with Marketing, Product, Technology, Data Eng and BI team members to communicate lifecycle marketing requirements and launch/optimize programs aligned to established business launch cycles
  • Leverage customer data and program insights to deeply understand audience behavior, interests and intentions to fuel shared audience creation for consistent messaging for omni channel program execution
  • Participate in quarterly and annual planning, bringing insights to inform strategies and prioritization for necessary innovations of the technologies and data needed for program execution and business impact
  • Deliver the weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting and insights into program performance. Actively and creatively addressing challenges in order to meet/exceed established targets

What you’ll need

  • 10+ years of relevant lifecycle marketing experience within a high velocity, marketing driven online business: Consumer/ProSumer, PLG, SaaS preferred 
  • Familiarity with Segment CDP and Iterable preferred
  • Track record of driving measurable increases in program efficacy and process efficiency within high volume programs
  • Track record of global team management and development

Compensation
Base salary range by location:
  • San Francisco Bay Area, CA: $198,300 - $250,000
  • California (outside of San Francisco Bay Area): $183,000 - $215,800
  • Colorado: $168,000 - $198,000
  • Utah, Arizona, and North Carolina: $158,000 - $186,000

Actual compensation packages are determined by various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, specific work location, and performance during the interview process. In addition to base salary, this role may include variable compensation and be eligible for an equity grant, depending on the position and level.

Base salary range:
$158,000$250,000 USD
