About Our Role:

We're looking for a driven, creative, and strategically minded Director of Lifecycle Marketing & CRM to join our marketing team. This role sits at the intersection of storytelling and systems — you'll own how we communicate with guests and prospects across every channel, building the campaigns and the infrastructure that power them. You'll be the connective tissue of our marketing calendar, partnering closely with channel owners in social, paid media, content, and revenue to bring integrated campaigns to life from brief to send.

If you obsess over subject lines, love architecting a nurture flow as much as writing the copy inside it, and have hands-on experience in Revinate — we want to hear from you.

Essential Functions:

Campaign Planning & Portfolio Management

  • Own and maintain the integrated marketing campaign calendar, aligning all channels — email, social, paid, in-property, and PR — around a unified narrative.
  • Develop campaign briefs from strategy through execution, partnering with channel leads and Regional Marketing Directors to ensure on-time, on-brand delivery.
  • Build and manage the campaign in take process so internal stakeholders have a clear path to request, track, and review marketing support.
  • Track campaign performance across channels, delivering regular recaps with learnings and recommendations to continuously raise the bar.

CRM, Lifecycle, and Guest Communication

  • Lead the buildout and ongoing optimization of our CRM in Revinate, including segmentation strategy, audience architecture, and automation workflow.
  • Define and manage the guest communication roadmap — from pre-arrival sequences and in-stay messaging to post-stay re-engagement and loyalty campaigns.
  • Design and manage the full guest lifecycle — acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention — with intentional messaging at every stage.
  • Design and build emails for property and brand-level newsletters, while owning email marketing KPIs

Copywriting & Brand Voice

  • Serve as a primary writer for marketing campaigns, email copy, landing pages, and promotional materials — producing polished, brand-consistent content with speed and craft.
  • Partner with the broader team to uphold brand voice guidelines and bring consistency to how we communicate across touchpoints.

Qualifications

  • 5+years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years focused on campaign management, email marketing, or CRM — ideally within hospitality, travel, or a consumer brand.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with Revinate as a CRM and email marketing platform required
  • An exceptional writer. You draft clean, compelling copy quickly and take pride in every word that goes out the door.
  • Proven experience owning and managing an integrated marketing calendar across multiple channels and stakeholders, especially in Asana.
  • Strong project management instincts — you create order out of complexity, hit deadlines, and communicate proactively when timelines shift.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
