Gogo is looking for its newest Director, Key Accounts! In this exciting position you will be primarily responsible for generating revenue for the company with the specific focus of establishing and maintaining Gogo products and services solutions onboard larger fleet-operated aircraft managed by the Key Accounts (KA) team, as well as developing new business fleet Key Accounts.

How will you make a difference?
- Actively manage and represent Gogo to the assigned and potential KAs
- Manage and negotiate complicated rates and services agreements with assigned KAs
- Increase KA revenue and profitability through hardware sales, upgrades, and new product and service offerings globally
- Transition fleet accounts from legacy Gogo equipment to new Gogo systems and/or multi-orbit networks
- Continually interact with KAs team to learn about opportunities and creatively come up with new value propositions which Gogo can solve
- Lead business-to-business negotiations with Gogo stakeholders related to partnerships and/or new products and services
- Coordinate with Gogo leadership, commercial sales organization, program management, engineering, and product management to ensure product requirements desired by individual KAs
- Become an expert on Gogo Products and Services
- Be able to assess the competitive landscape and successfully position Gogo BA’s products ahead of similar competitive products in the market
- Work with the entire Gogo Sales Team by sharing data and information, to reach collective sales goals and targets of the entire company
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree is required, Aerospace focus preferred
- 10+ years’ experience in the business aviation industry in Commercial Sales
- Pilot, Flight Operations, and or MRO industry experience
- Substantial domestic and limited international travel in support of all accounts, trade shows, and customer functions is required (up to 50%)
Required Experience, Skills and Talents
- Track record of negotiating, winning, and sustaining large commercial programs within the business aviation industry
- Demonstrated experience in researching, writing, and responding to Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
- Proven experience in developing, tracking, and reporting business analytics
- Experienced in sales forecasting and current and future business trend projections
- A history of success with competitive commercial bid, proposals, and negotiations
- Strong knowledge of Part 23 and Part 25 business aviation aircraft and avionics
- Solid understanding of Part 91-K and 135 operations and operators in fractional, charter, and managed fleets
