  • Drive marketing strategy for insurance alliances, including prioritization of broker and carrier segments, communication plans, co-branded campaigns, and regional programs.

  • Serve as a primary liaison to key internal stakeholders (alliance owners, product marketing, field marketing, corporate marketing and demand) and external partners (brokers and carriers) to strengthen collaboration and elevate partner experience.

  • Develop quarterly goals and KPIs based on strategic direction from senior marketing and distribution leadership.

  • Work closely with functional marketing teams to ensure effective use of resources and consistent messaging across all touchpoints in the broker/carrier journey.

  • Drive partner-facing events and sponsorships, such as broker summits, industry conferences, webinars, and carrier enablement sessions.

  • Leverage insurance industry data, broker feedback, and channel metrics to assess program performance and adjust strategies accordingly.

  • Ensure alignment of corporate messaging and product positioning with the specific needs and language of the insurance channel.

  • Continually refine segmentation and marketing approaches based on broker size, geography, specialization/vertical orientation, and carrier relationship maturity.

Who You Are

  • Deep understanding of the insurance partnership model, including the roles of brokers and carriers.

  • Ability to think strategically and translate marketing goals into tangible results that drive partner loyalty and program adoption.

  • Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to effectively engage key stakeholders at brokerage firms and carriers, including marketing, underwriters, agents and more.

  • Proficiency in designing and executing integrated marketing campaigns tailored to insurance intermediaries.

  • Expertise in partner enablement through collateral, broker portal, lead-generation programs, and co-branded marketing efforts.

  • Strong grasp of insurance buying cycles and how marketing efforts influence broker behavior and submission volume.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years proven experience in B2B channel or partner marketing, with a minimum of 5 years focused on the insurance industry, working with brokers, carriers, or insurance technology platforms.

  • 5+ years of prior management experience.

  • Demonstrated success in designing marketing strategies that increase channel engagement and accelerate distribution outcomes.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Insurance, or Communications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years in marketing leadership roles within the insurance industry (P&C, Life, or Commercial preferred).

  • Experience with InsurTech, carrier-broker integrations, or agency management systems (AMS/CRM) is a plus.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
