How you will impact the organization…
Director of Income Tax, will report to the SVP Tax and will be responsible for the company’s tax accounting, income tax compliance, and tax operations.
The value you will deliver…
- Prepare/review quarterly and annual consolidated financial reporting for income tax including ASC 740 calculations and SEC reporting.
- Co-manage and coordinate the income tax compliance process for tax returns, estimates, extensions, etc. Ensures accurate and timely compliance with federal, state and local, and international income/franchise tax laws and regulations.
- Oversee tax forecasting and cash tax activities.
- Ensure appropriate tracking, accurate calculation and sufficient documentation of uncertain tax positions.
- Manage transfer pricing study performed by tax consultants. Performs monthly and quarterly intercompany transaction review and transfer pricing calculations.
- Actively make recommendations and suggest alternatives for protecting corporate resources and implements appropriate internal controls relating to income taxes and related reporting.
- Conduct tax research, draw conclusions and prepare technical memorandums to support tax positions. Monitors legislation and judicial proceedings for relevant tax law changes.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested. Consensus reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
- Assist with tax audits and tax agency inquiries.
- Assist with M&A transactions.
- Assist with domestic and international tax planning strategies.

What you will bring to the table…
- 8+ years of experience with US GAAP and Tax Code, strong experience with ASC 740 for public companies.
- 8+ years of relevant corporate tax experience, preferably a mix of experience with a corporate tax department and CPA firms.
- Experience with Oracle or similar ERP system.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel, including Pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Must be detail oriented with advanced organizational and analytical skills.
- Initiative and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with others including upper management and outside tax professionals in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Excellent work ethic by taking ownership and being highly accountable and proactive.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or tax.
You will stand out if you also have…
- Working knowledge of US international tax, including FDII, 163(j) calculations, GILTI and BEAT is preferred.
- CPA and/or MBT a plus.
- Big 4 experience a plus.

- Location requirements: Remote within the U.S. (Los Angeles area preferred.)
- Travel requirements: Up to 30% domestic travel
- Physical requirements: Must be able to sit for long periods, as well as, handle long periods of screen time.

The salary range for this role is up to $170,000 USD. [The total compensation package for this position is negotiable and may also include [annual performance bonus, ESPP, enhanced time off packages and benefits.]
