Are you one of the most ambitious people you know? Are you a generalist who loves collaborating with others to solve hard problems? If so, you've found your perfect role.
We are seeking a Director of Growth to grow one of our flagship products from $0 to millions in ARR within the next year. You'll have engineering, marketing, customer success, and sales resources at your disposal to achieve this goal.
This is the first such hire we're making, and you'll report directly a co-founder. Your responsibilities will include how to market this product, how we should price it, how it should evolve over time, and how to outpace competitors in the space.
This is an in-person role in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA. Our office is downtown, walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops, and the beach.
Who We Are
Unwrap.ai is on a mission to fill the world with products people love. We’re helping companies like Lyft, Stripe, Oura, Microsoft, Perplexity, and Github collect and process feedback more effectively. We ingest feedback from thousands of sources (support channels, surveys, social), and use state-of-the-art NLP technology to extract actionable insights for customers across software, hardware, and retail sectors.
We’re currently a team of 30, based in Santa Barbara, and growing quickly. We are venture-backed, raising more than $16M to-date from world class investors.
Our founders, two ex-Amazon Alexa Product Managers, were tired of manually sifting through customer reviews, support tickets, and bugs while working on Alexa. They understood the importance of listening to customers and prioritizing their requests effectively, but simply had too much feedback to parse through. So, Unwrap.ai was born to solve this problem.
Our small team is extremely motivated, hard-working, and simply gets stuff done. If this sounds exciting, we can't wait to read your application.
Why are we hiring for this role?
We've recently launched this new product after nearly a year of R&D, and now we need a single owner to get this product in the hands of new and existing customers
We need a generalist to grow this product, as opposed to simply giving this new SKU to our sales team to sell, given it's differentiation form our core product, and it's massive potential.
After this project (~12-18 months), there will be many new products that will benefit from this same playbook
What You Bring
You have 4+ years experience in a GTM-based role, preferably at a B2B SaaS company or experience at a top consulting firm / elite company with clear interest in joining an early-stage startup
You're able to independently meet with customers and ask the right questions so we can build the best products to serve their needs
A track record of autonomously growing product adoption from 0 to 1, with responsibilities spanning from Product to Marketing to Sales
A strong communicator able to coordinate stakeholders across multiple teams
What You Get
Ground floor impact at an early-stage startup with tremendous latitude over technical strategy and approach
Significant, potentially life-changing equity
Report directly to a founder of the company
Ability to rapidly advance your career while building a really big company
Collaborate with experienced teammates, entrepreneurs, and advisors
Work directly with enterprise customers to ideate and develop solutions
